How IIBS Shaped My Career | Vasu's Alumni Story

As a student at IIBS Bengaluru, I gained more than just academic knowledge—I built confidence, developed practical skills, and prepared myself for the corporate world.

Hi everyone, I'm Srija from Telangana, pursuing my PGDM in the Batch of 2025–2027.

We have had many ice-breaking sessions, and apart from academics, we were given the opportunity to participate in several experiential learning activities.

One of the highlights was the Adventure Learning Program (ALP), where we visited Ramanagara and took part in exciting outdoor activities. We also visited Pyramid Valley, where we learned about meditation and the importance of spiritual well-being.

In addition, we had the opportunity to visit Nandi Hills and the Isha Yoga Center, which made our learning journey even more enriching.

It has been a wonderful journey so far, and I look forward to growing both personally and professionally at IIBS.

From Concepts to Confidence

Aleena Biju from Kerala, MBA Batch 2025–27 at IIBS Bengaluru, began her learning journey by revisiting important concepts in Accountancy and Business Communication. These sessions helped her reconnect with the academic foundation she had built during graduation.

But the real impact came through action-based learning.

Activities like Bing Bang Boom, Treasure Hunt and team challenges helped to experience the true spirit of management — patience, coordination, communication and group handling.

Every task became more than just an activity. It became a lesson in how to listen, lead, support and grow with a team.

Through the MOM Program, Aleena discovered that management education is building the confidence to work with people.
