I thoroughly enjoyed Cena vs Gunther (and the whole show in general) despite the common reaction to the ending. I thought they would send everyone home happy but I genuinely couldn’t be upset to see Cena tap out. He did it with a smile on his face and he went out the way he wanted. Cena has had such a tremendous career and has always been the face of the company for me growing up. Cena is a once in a lifetime talent and I’m so grateful to have witnessed it in person and on screen. I made the spur of the moment decision to go to Washington for his final match and I’m so glad I made that choice. He’s genuinely one of my greatest of all time. It’s going to be crazy watching these shows, especially Wrestlemania, without him as a feature attraction. His retirement tour wasn’t my favorite but it doesn’t overshadow the rest of the work he’s done over the years. Thank you Cena for all the work you’ve put in!
