hey guys, im sorry i havent been as active on any of my blogs. im actually in the process of getting everything i need to done with making a multi-muse blog, since yknow, stressing myself out without realizing i am. so im just… idk why im posting this rn when no one’s up lmao but yeah. i’ll be archiving the blogs i have and moving them to the multi-muse when i open it, so replies on here and any of my blogs will not be happening any time soon, and not on those blogs. love yall.

tenya was still learning that he really needed to pay more attention when out for a walk. he was used to going so fast on his morning jogs, and that bled into whenever he decided to explore around his home. so it shouldn’t have surprised him when he managed to trip on something and almost collapse, if it hadn’t been for suddenly being caught.

hands grip the other’s biceps as tenya lifts his head, still a tad disoriented while he looks up to thank whoever had managed to stop his fall. the familiar face made him feel a little less embarrassed, staying put somewhat leaned down into his friend.

“kaminari! thank you for catching me, i suppose i can grow a bit distracted when walking--”

even with having trained to adjust to the new speed he had gained, tenya was prone to slip up in this process. it was a lot faster than he had anticipated, and sometimes, the bursts would knock him off balance. not the best when training in roof top rescue scenarios.

the dash to the edge was planned, he would use just enough to surge himself from this roof to the next, and land safely, continuing to run once he’d landed. it wasn’t planned that he’d accidentally use too much too soon, ending up practically throwing himself off the edge of the building. it was terrifying, the feeling of weightlessness and the jolt in his gut as he plummeted, wrenching his eyes shut and throwing his arms over his face, as if that would stop the inevitable from happening--

appeared it did, though.

the impact was still rough, but a lot more... comforting than he expected. out of instinct, even without opening his eyes, he clung to whoever had caught him, shaking like a leaf as the fear and adrenaline pumped through him. he was aware that one of the teachers would save him, at least, he was aware in this moment. during the fall, he was rather convinced that a stupid slip-up would be the death of him...

his fingers curl into the back of his teacher’s shirt, his body still tingling from the fall and his heart racing, his head feeling dizzy as he held on like a child, his position akin to a koala with his legs wrapped around them as well.

“wait, you made me this?”

well, made wasn’t really the word. heated up in the microwave was more like it. it was very clearly one of those microwave dinners, nothing too fancy, but with a good mix of foods that tenya was able to eat together in one sitting. and a can of orange juice!

stepping over to the table did tenya smile rather big, looking at shinso curiously. had he done something to deserve this? maybe it was because of the time they had been spending together lately? either way, he felt honored that they would even put in the trouble of heating something up for him, when he really didn’t have to!

tenya took a seat in front of the meal, a soft smile on his face before he returned his gaze to shinso, a hand slicing through the air quick and short as he flapped his wrists. this made him really happy, he really didn’t get such acts of kindness out of no where anymore!

“thank you! what brought this on?”

Tensei didn’t get angry easily, but as the shock from seeing his little brother walk through the front door bruised and bleeding, and obviously not fine wore off, anger threatened to overwhelm him. He’d never felt so frustrated being stuck in a wheelchair than in that moment.

He reached out for Tenya, grabbing him by the arms as he sways, trying to hold him up. “You’re not fine,” he repeated, then sighed, directing Tenya towards the couch. “Sit down before you fall over. I’ll go get the first aid kit,” he said, maneuvering his chair away from the other as he wheeled out of the room as quickly as he could go.

He needed to focus on take care of his brother before anything else. That was the only thing keeping him from completely losing his cool.

He returns quickly with the first aid kit in his lap. He approached his brother, wincing slightly when he sees his face once more. “You should’ve gone to the hospital, Tenya. Why did you come back home?”

being guided to sit on the sofa, tenya had no resistance or refusal. he let himself be sat down and kept his gaze lowered, staring at his hands that had his own bleed smeared along his thumbs and index fingers, bleeding into the cracks of his skin and only spreading as he clenched his fists.

what had just happened was really settling in now, tenya full on shaking like a leaf as the fear grew and his adrenaline rose. why did i come home? i should have gone to the hospital, do i have a concussion? i hadn’t hit my head, i just wanted to come home!

broken sobs began to pull from tenya’s lips as he refused to look at tensei, feeling ashamed for making such a stupid decision in such a serious situation. he really had no good reason for why, and it was showing as he began to apologize.

“i’m sorry, i’m sorry, tensei-- i just wanted to be h-home-- i wouldn’t have felt safe alone, wh-what if i died at the hospital and you never knew until the day after! wh-what if you never found out, wh-what if--”

Originally Shoto had been very against going to UA, but after some time thinking about it he’d relented and let his father enroll him. It would be a great way to gather information about the students that he might someday be fighting against.

He never expected to be getting attached to some of these students. Hero society may suck but he kind of liked these kids. He envied their rather carefree attitudes to being a hero and what it entailed.

Iida Tenya was a bit of enigma though, endlessly serious but tolerate of most of the madness that went on around this campus. It was why he did things like this, trying to piece together the other’s heads based on his reactions to things.

Sho shifted around on the other’s back to reposition himself on the other’s back, grinning wryly.

“Just helping your workout…that a problem?”

of course he had found it quite weird, but after the affirmation that he was attempting to help his work-out, tenya smiled to himself and nodded, pressing fingers firmly to the mat he had laid out before beginning to lower himself, lifting into one push-up.

“not at all, todoroki! the added weight is definitely helping. could you make sure to spot my legs, as well? i hope to keep them from sliding off the mat.”

the stretch on the back of his legs was enough to let him know that he was planted firmly, and if it faded, he’d be aware, but it was still nice to have someone to look out for things you missed. one push-up became two, then five, and tenya’s cheeks were only dusted pink, still climbing into the double digits.

though at around fifteen, he let out a low grunt, and sixteen was a bit slower, until seventeen he carefully lowered to his face, laying out on the mat with a sigh. he hadn’t been able to pass 16 confidently, and it was definitely starting to irk him. a short break, then he’d begin again.

“so...” tenya breaths as he reaches over to grab his water and take a sip, not fully lifting from the mat so he wouldn’t have to ask shoto to stand and sit over and over, “was this the only reason you came out here?”
