peter offers a grin as he looks over at his date and offers her his hand, “would you like to dance, my dear zoe?” he knows that he looks good for this and while he has no real interest in the girl, he’s aware that treating her nicely will work to his advantage later on.

“d-dance ??” eyebrows rose on her forehead slowly while taking his hand. “i’m not sure how well i’ll do out there ??” giving him a smile despite her hesitance. “okay---- let’s show these squares how it’s really done !!”

     WAS THAT a smile on her face ? the corner of bare lips turning upwards just slightly. she shrugs, just enough to move the heavy set of dark green hair that rested on her shoulder.  ‘ maybe.  my jokes are often considered bad enough to break people anyway.’ a slight pause,  ‘ what’s your best joke then ? ‘ 

“okay, okay---” holding out her hands with a smile, preparing. “more of a PUN, really !!” laughing with a husky breath in between. “i was walking through a quarry and said to the foreman, ‘that's a big rock !!’ ‘boulder,’ he replied. ---so i puffed out my chest and shouted, ‘look at that ENORMOUS rock over there.” zoe let out a cheerful laugh, it was a joke that always got her !!

      “ oh. ” her voice is SMALL. she is too tired to argue with the other ; she is sure she would not win anyways. “ you can stay , then , i guess , ” she says softly. she shakes her head , dirty blonde locks following. “ no. i am all over the park , most days , && my room key is usually the last thing on my mind. i usually put it in my back pocket … but i wore a dress today. no pockets , so i am not sure where it is. ”

nodding, zoe approved. hoping she didn’t step on any toes by acting so persistent. “okay---- i totally understand where you’re coming from.” again nodding her head. “how about i head down there ?? get you a new card ?? you seem tired, and i’d be happy to do it ??”

      ‘ a lovely sentiment – ‘  tomboyish girl remarks,   hands shoved into jean pockets; white button up barely tucked in anymore.   ‘ – but no. ‘  she concludes.   she was telling a joke ; not a moral lecture.   ‘ because when he does he can say that he’s discrimisainting. ‘  a pause, ‘ also because he probably has a holier than thou attitude.  i’ve never meant a saint though,   so i can’t quite judge.’ 

“oh man----” letting out a slight giggle, “you were waiting for someone to FALL FOR THAT ?? weren’t you ??” again giggling at the others joke. “----you had me going for a second !! i thought this was going to BREAK my brain !!”

        “ but if it is late , would you not rather return to your own room?? “ modesty turns towards the other ,  blue eyes flickering over the OTHER , as if picking her apart , trying to find the REASON she is still here. the child nods at her question. “ i do believe i have misplaced it SOMWHERE in this park , but i cannot say where. “

“no---- of course not. not when you’re ALL ALONE.”lips turned down slowly. “if i were you--- i’d rather be with someone rather than sitting, waiting without someone to talk to.” zoe rubbed at her eyes, keeping herself awake for the other. “you’re not sure where ??” looking at her with wide eyes, “not even a general location ??”

“i’m sure you’re not really interested in my fear of FLYING BUGS !!” feeling like a million were crawling on her just talking about it. reeling by her own thoughts, zoe shoved the thought out of her head. “anyways, i think i’m going to get a LEMONADE or something. do you want anything ??”

“i’m not---- i’m not quite sure ??” really taken aback by the others question. “why does ANYONE discriminate ?? isn’t it just as bad as if a saint were to discriminate ?? i don’t know ??”

    “ no, i did not get LOCKED out of my hotel room at … er, what is the time? “ modesty looks up at the other, bright blue eyes shining with fatigue. “ i will… i will simply wait for um, security to come help me out. it is alright. i will be alright. ”

“no, no---- i’ll wait with you.” rubbing at her eyes, equally as tired as the other. lights were starting to BLUR together as she slid against the wall. “i don’t think leaving you is the BEST IDEA. not at this time of night, you know ??” looking over at her with a small, hopeful smile that they’d come to help soon. “did you lose your key card ??”

“clawdius!” she yelled, struggling to run after the animal in her heels and gigantic gown. he seemed to be getting away, though she had no idea why he would want to escape her care. thankfully, he stopped short of running into a stranger and started sniffing them up and down. eventually, red caught up to the pair. out of breath, she apologized, “sorry, i’m trying to train him but he’s not a very good listener.” to clawdius, she said, “bad dog!” but he wasn’t a dog at all, but rather a young wolf, no longer small enough to be mistaken for a puppy. “he didn’t, like, bite you or anything, did he?” her tone was unconcerned, because her pet wasn’t much of a biter.

“woah-----” zoe’s mouth was agape as she observed the rather LARGE CREATURE. “your--- wolf hybrid is--- really--- wow !!” unable to get the words out of her mouth; as if she was eating a peanut butter sandwich. zoe was intrigued, but a tad hesitant. “oh no---- claw--- clawdius is a nice--- guy !! i’ve just never been near such a LARGE ANIMAL of his caliber before. he’s magnificent !!”

“you just have to find the right color, a color that matches on you and matches your outfit – simple. Now I wear almost the same thing everyday but I’m sure I can find something that matches you well.” Daphne grabbed a different lipstick color that would match the light shirt, handing it over to the female “this should look well on you, go try the shirt on and then come back here.”

“you wear the same thing every day ?? do you own the same seven outfits ??” wondering out loud before slipping a hand over her mouth. “i’m sorry--- i probably should ask, but i’m just wondering if they happen to be the SAME COLOR ??” really quite curious about it. “i think i like light colors ?? more natural---- because i don’t want to feel like a clown.” looking at the lipstick with a smile. “hey, i like this !! let’s see how it looks !!” face brightened, hoping it would work out. taking a tiny mirror, zoe placed the lipstick on her lips, intense expression danced on her face. slightly embarrassed by her own technique. “how do i look ??” rubbing her lips together before looking up at the redhead.

“no worries---- i’m sure we can figure it out ??” shrugging her shoulders before nodding. “i can totally help !! it is my job--- after all !!”

a male’s voice dances in her head; it sounds soft-spoken and sweet. hearing her own voice, completely reluctant to believe this boy. especially ( according to the dream ) that her brother thought such things about her. which OVERWHELMED zoe completely. it enveloped her with such joy, giving her hope that things weren’t as bad as they seemed. 

thinking that the two were a million miles apart from each other. though there seemed to be a bit of that DREAD that was tucked deep inside her as zoe spoke to the male. still there felt like there was something missing. 

zoe couldn’t move in her own dream, watching from afar. everything seemed to be all draped in blue, everything seemed cold in the dream. it made zoe feel even more unsure about what the hell she was dreaming about. cold & warm spots of things took over her body; not really understanding if she was HAPPY or SAD ??

“not everyone is – takes practice.” Daphne shrugged her shoulders and looked at the female with the dark color on her lips “I’ve just practice and it’s became a hobby, you know ?? but I’m sure we can fix you up and bit and I can teach you.”

“i can’t seem to COLOR COORDINATE--- especially with lipstick and shirt colors. it was too dark for this LIGHT PASTEL.” plucking the shirt up with her index finger and thumb. “generally i don’t match anything ?? if the JEANS match the t-shirt--- it works ??” shrugging her shoulders. stumped by the entire matching of colors altogether. “you’d be doing me some good here. i am LOST.”

             “ this shade does not go with your skin tone, just so you know. You should go with something more like this. ” she said pulling out a shirt that would go well with the stranger “ you’ll thank me later. ”

“man---- i’m not really cut out for this FASHION STUFF.” wanting to wipe the color off of her normally bright lips. “how do you do it ?? i mean, i’ve always tried, and i can’t seem to figure out ??” zoe was completely in the dark when clothes were involved. “i feel like i’ll never be good enough for it.”

koriand’r had found herself venturing around the amusement park taking in all the sights. ‘’ while i find this place very intriguing & it looks exciting, i really must be finding my FRIENDS. perhaps i could try one of these … machines later? ‘’

popping her head around a soda machine, zoe smiled. “which one ?? you gotta really pick a good one !! an entertaining one !!” eyes went down to check her watch, “damn---- i have to get back to the T-SHIRT STAND.” disappointment making its way onto her soft features. “are you interested in buying anything ??”
