it was almost too familiar a statement for priyanka. she paused, one brow carefully arching; what was left of her dead heart-strings tugging, ever so slightly. “tell em they’re busy. that you’re picking it up for them. and any questions they have can be saved for a later date.” it wasn’t the best lie — but it’d do.

hc. also, marina has a slight accent. it’s different than a chicagoan accent and it’s almost slightly southern, just barely. some of the words she say have a certain twang on it that doesn’t sit quite right with the regional accent of riverdale or greendale.

hey. marina’s a half demon. here’s how her intro changes and how it changes her. tldr ; it doesn’t . not much.

she doesn’t know she’s half demon. her father was a full demon, mother wasn’t, had marina with him before dad went y’all ugly poof and never seen again ( although no doubt to pop up sometime later in the future ) and he was the epitome of a douchebag that probably just fucked around with her mother for the hell of it but OTHERWISE marina and her mother are none the riser. things to be on the look out with her :

anger issues that have been suppressed / urges normally considered not in character for her suppressed 

her avoiding mirrors actively but not obviously because she swore she saw someone else in the mirror that wasn’t herself once and she’s freaked out

having a dream journal
