It's a headcanon that's arguably OOC depending on who you ask but I think it's kinda sweet the fankid side of the fandom unanimously agreed Jack would have a soft spot for children and babies, especially if they're his own. I have now seen two artists depict Jack bawling his eyes out while holding his own kid and I dunno i think it's such a cute idea

i’ve been going through the series again in an attempt to make a more condensed ii watch playlist and dude. it became harder and harder to cut stuff out as i got to season 2 because this show weaves its plot points and subtlety so brilliantly into the show. it was so hard to separate episodes into “main plot episodes” and “filler” because every single episode had details important to the next. this show is at its core a character driven show and i love it for that

I LOVE what they did with Yin-yang in season 3. They were a stereotype of DID in S2 for sure but instead of forgetting them or pretending they don't exist the writers actually gave them development and treated them with more care especially in regards to how they represent their plurality (s3 showing their headspace, them switching/fronting, etc) and gave more nuance to them besides making yin "the good one" and yang "the evil alter that yin HAS to tolerate" the writers actually made it so Yin is sassy and sometimes ashamed of Yang and blames him for a lot of things but also struggles to be assertive without him (because he ALSO needs yang), and yang struggles to express and communicate his feelings but he HAS them and he can actually get vulnerable and he's more chaotic and rebellious than just "pure evil", he wants more freedom and autonomy while yin is more insecure and ashamed of his plurality . They learn to love and respect each other much more and collaborate and compromise and it's great. I'm not plural myself but I feel like they were done much more justice in iii and I feel like that's how you right a wrong. And their development doesn't come from nowhere, they build towards it with the help of Candle and go through ups and downs I love it

God I am so tired of negativity that I genuinely am numb sometimes. Scrolling through this blog was lowkey helpful for my declining mental health today !!

Anyway !! II season 4 is so much better than people give it credit for !! Like, it has plenty of flaws, sure, but so does all of ii. And s4 is fanservice-y because of the fact it’s a send off to the series ! The creators are writing what they’ve always wanted to, and can we get mad at them for getting their oc’s to kiss ? S4 is fun to watch, it has interpersonal drama and uses the competition as a way to work with that. I think a lot of my complaints will be better once the first “non competitive” episode comes out, I wanna see characters like Silver Spoon, making friends genuinely, I wanna see Painty freaking out over the recent events, I wanna see Tissues be his silly self, I’m just excited :3 but yeah. I think as ii fans grow up, the criticism will get bigger, but I just think that people should also take a minutes and enjoy the show. It’s not world-ending if a test tube and a fan kiss a little. Shows do it all the time.

can we talk about how good island of misfit objects was in the remaster like HELLO??? it was AMAZING i genuinely love it so much and i enjoyed every single second of it i've replayed it like so many times today ITS SO PEAK!!!! all of the VAs are literally so good at singing too they did a phenomenal job!!!! like this literally means so much to me as a person whose favourite character is paper (since yk his character is very connected to idiotic island) and who grew up watching rudolph the red nosed reindeer (i've seen it like a million times since i have it on DVD kdsfjskjfhdsk) like this song means so much to me you have no idea AUGHGGH I LOVE INANIMATE INSANITYY I LOV IT
