Dave Trampier inspired Orcus statue sketch ( from the 1979 D&D Players Handbook cover) followed by the rough-assembled cut paper version. the bottom pic shows the pieces of the 8 separate layers 185lb Canson Montval acrylic paper that comprise the head. The next step will be to haint paint each piece to keep the feeling of Trampier’s original painting.
