So my friend said that KS decreases reader's morality. Many people want Jieun dead just because she is a third party...
I personally don’t think Killing Stalking decreases anyone’s morality cuz as long as you can tell fictional from real life everything is good. Your morality shouldn’t be so fragile it can be broken by a fucking Manhwa.
You are reading a psychotic serial killer manhwa… What do you expect? That he would let her off and life goes on, no one has to die? The fact that they don’t care that she may die is mostly because they know she isn’t real. And many hate her because she is a mean bitch not because she likes Sangwoo.
If it’s a girl in real life I believe hardly anyone would say that she deserves to die. Those who would… Well we all know that there would be those who would regardless of them having read Killing Stalking or not.
Hannibal’s fandom is pretty big, would anyone in a right mind would become a cannibal or approved of cannibalism after watching the series? No, of course not, same with KS. Anyone felt sad for the victims that Hannibal cooked? I know that many people like how classy Hannibal looks when he cooks. So please do the same here.
I couldn’t careless about that girl cuz from the moment I saw her I know she’d be another victim. Usually I think the authors wouldn’t depict and develop the victims’ characters. So that readers don’t develop connections toward the victim. Jieun being described as a mean bitch is a plot point, the storyline needs her to bitch then either die or make some kind of changes. If she has to die then killing a bitch is better than killing an innocent, decent girl.
Plus usually people root for the main character unless they are very unbearable, in this case Jangwoo is at that fine line where you don’t know if you hate or love him.
And no, me no really think that this manhwa romanticize unhealthy relationship, at least not yet and Bum’s p.o.v of this relationship is far from “loving” and “acceptable” (idk if you guys’ moralities are healthier than mine because in my eyes it is not romanticized).
You are usually warned before you read, there are tags. As I checked, at least on MangaFox, they put Psychological and Horror on. No romance. If you think it’s sick why are you reading this category?
P.S: I mean no ill will toward Hannibal’s fandom, I’m just saying they should treat KS some what the same.
