Is nuance really that difficult to understand? Does everything really have to be black or white, good or bad, left or right,...? Can't we just be human and make some mistakes? Or better yet, be ourselves with a little internal struggle and a pinch of internal contradiction?
What does the world gain by everybody choosing a side and having to stick to only that one side? What if after a while I realize I was wrong and want to have a little bit of both sides? Or maybe even try and understand the other side? Imagine if someone really understood other people or even just one other person? Wouldn't that be nice?
Nuance shouldn't be discouraged like it is nowadays. Nuance should be celebrated like the Olympics! Except not a few weeks every four years, but every day again and again... And again.
Oh well.
