I still need to seal it, and I will need to get it professionally photographed to get prints made. But I am DONE cutting and gluing, and I am so ready to move on to another project. It's called "Sanctuary," and it is entirely cut paper from magazines and old books on an 18 X 24" canvas board.

“Oh no, no no, that’s much too phallic.”

“I keep dropping all my little slivers of paper- WHERE DID IT GO??”

I was commissioned to paint a compass rose in the same style as the mural mock-up I made a while back. You can’t see it very well in this picture but all the yellow is metallic gold paint! This is 6x6 inches - I only had one brush that was tiny enough for details 😭

I found out that Inktober is problematic for various reasons, so I am now doing my own version with randomly generated words. This one was “soup”.
