also one thing that’s been bugging me is that taylor associating with matty healy goes so specifically against her brand of feminism that she has tapped into since 2014, which is the whole Women Supporting Women™️ mantra. like, her thing for years has been about trying to uplift other women in the industry and call out the manufactured cattiness.. but just a few months ago, her man called ice spice a dumb bitch on that podcast and made disparaging remarks about her appearance. and considering she plays ice spice’s song before going on stage, it seems, idk, insulting to then go date that guy. we all know how taylor feels about women being referred to as bitches especially by men (see: look what you made me do) and that she has no problem calling out what she sees as misogyny happening to her (see: her tweet to damon albarn & her ginny and georgia tweet). imagine if matty had referred to taylor as a dumb bitch on that podcast instead and made remarks about her weight, we KNOW she would’ve hit back immediately. but it’s fuck other women i guess
