Lyanna smiled as she looked at the trees in front of them. āI like legends, they are lots of fun.ā Hearing her words, she grinned back at the daughter. āIām glad that he is looking out for us.ā
āI hope he brings good luck to uncle Ed and his kin.ā She stated as she turned to her mother with hopeful eyes.Ā āYou are the best mommy.ā
Lyanna closed her eyes, following in the pray. She prayed that her family and those she cared about to be safe. Giggling at the end of the pray, Lyanna pressed a kiss to the top of Roseās head. āYes, we must be very thankful to be able to play on the branches.ā
The tiny girl smile as she looked up,"He likes us." She then turned to her mother with a big grin,"I made up a legend mommy." She cooed as she thought,"the god once roamed the lands till one day man was crate they took on the forms of the old trees to watch over the lands of their people."
"The prospect does not thrill you, I see." Like aunt, like niece. Wildness was a trait which the northerners seemed to have in abundance, particularly the womenfolk. "Still, we must all do our duty. "As a bastard I can choose to married it's not like a noble blooded man could ever love a she-beast like me. You want to talk about wifely duties and honor I have true born sisters." Rose's words Ā were harsh like the snows of winterfell, it was easy to see she was someone who'd remain unbroken.
"Oh Have you ever ridden an unbroken in horse?" She genuinely showed interest in her question,"I love animals. Humans and animals have so much in common. Did you know a stag could kill a wolf and a poisonous spider could kill a bird. It's different but interesting."Ā
Lyanna smiled, remembering her tree climbing days and continued climbing up the tree until she sat beside her daughter. āWhat would we ask for first? Inspiration or protection?āĀ
"We ask that the old gods protect our brothers and sisters. By that I mean our family and friends." Rose closed her eyes and pulled her little hands together,"We ask that you watch over and protect the people of Winterfell and Winterfell's allies. I ask that you provide us with inspiration to make the lives of those around us good. Oh And thank you for letting us play in your branches too."

"I this love him but, it's nothing compared to the love I have for Jon." She admitted as Lord Snow growled softly though did nothing. "Robb is still with me... in spirit." Rose chuckled to herself before beckoning the wolf over to her as she began to pace.
"My daughter seems to know my every waking moment, or so she thinks. Perhaps you too will learn thatĀ talent after youāve settled into the Capital. Might there be someone who I could ask - a captain of the guard, perhaps?ā
Had Tywin been a different man, he would have smiled at the little wolfās display of ferocity - people got killed in the Capital for gentler displays of emotion towards the wrong people. But Tywin only raised an eyebrow smoothly, before counselling. āThe Mockingbirdās claws are the longest of all birds in the kingdoms, and theyāre barely noticed for the most part.ā
"Oh well I'm sure it's a skill I'll pick up, when I marry." Her words were cold like the walls of Winterfell. "I have only seen the guards set to keep an eye on my sisters and I." The she wolf lowered her hand snapping her fingers, only to look down and remember her wolf had been left with Jon.
She wanted to cry, missing her wolf but she remained unmoved. Ā The woman was like Ned but slightly warmer, though that was on the outside.
"My father died in war, and i can respect that, there was nothing dishonest about that fight, the us - Robert won fair and squire, but the lions they murdered my mother, and my sister, and i canāt forgive them that, If you can promise me that this marriage can ensure me that they are removed from the history books, then thereās nothing iād rather do, that making you my wife." Aegon had previously been suggested to marry his aunt for power, but he werenāt raised among dragons, and he didnāt care much for the idea of incest, but Rose seemed like a decent choice. he moved to kiss her hand. "Walk with me?"Ā
She smiled her blue hues trailing over him,"I can gather the north. I have made impressions... Though House Bolton, might be a small problem..." Rose almost got lost in her thoughts but, she nodded. "Of course I'll walk with you." The young woman whistled calling the direwolf to her side,"Keep a perimeter, Lord Snow."Ā
Laughing, she watched her daughter climb up the gods tree and followed her up by climbing up a few of the branches. āWhatcha doing little one?ā
She moved to sit high in the tree,"The gods are easier to talk to like his mommy... Come up. We will ask for Inspiration and protection."
Lyanna laughed softly as she kneeled down to Roseās level and gently ruffled her hair. āI know that sweetie. You have many, many years before you have to worry about being married.ā
She looked at her mother with a big smile,"A LOOOOOONNNGGG TIME!" The tiny girl shouted as she let go of her mother's hand before climding up the gods' tree.
āI know that Rāhllor gave me Stannis. Heās the only person Iāve ever felt truly safe with,ā she said. āBut itās also said that those who feel as if theyāve spent a thousand lifetimes together are meant to be with one another. But I know that in the case of myself, King Stannis and Ser Davos that there are many times when Ser Davos and I do not see eye to eye on things, but all we want to do is the right thing for King Stannis.ā
She smiled at the young woman and knelt to the level of the direwolf. āIs it safe to pet him? I mean, Jonās direwolf, Ghost gets on well with me, not sure if yourās would though. Ghost and I had many similarities.ā
She smiled and nodded,"Lord Snow, not food." Rose look at the priestess,"You may pet him just stay to his left or he will bite you. He can barely see from his right side and you are not Jon or..." Rose choked on Robb's name tears forming in her eye,"Robb."
Following her daughter, Lyanna gently played with the fingers that were clasped in her own. Raising her eyebrow a bit, she couldnāt help to tease her daughter lightly. āOh I see, you be careful with Jon, my little one.ā She teased, knowing full well that Jon wouldnāt do anything improper with her young daughter. āYou are right, though, a happy Queen will be a just and fair queen to all their subjects.ā
Rose let the rosy color stay one her cheeks as they made their way to the godswood. "Mommy... That's weird... Me and Jon aren't married yet." The sweet blue hues judge her mother's words. "Indeed mommy happy queen."
"If he had been there, miss, I would not require assistance." He softened slightly, before adding, "Forgive my brusqueness - the matter that is to be discussed is of utmost importance."
A decidedly interesting child - Northern in honour but Southern in savvy. She knew well not to trust the Mockingbird, unlike her sister, who truly believed that he had been her motherās friend. āWe have something in common then - I had hoped to reach him before Lord Baelish sunk his talons in.ā
Her eyes trailed over the man with a sweet smile,"I understand. In all honesty I'm curious as to why you think I would know where he is?" Truth was she knew where he was but, she would only tell another of Winterfell. The she wolf trusted no one in King's Landing other then her father's men.
"I mean your daughter had my sister's wolf." She almost growled,"I'm just Glad I left Lord Snow with my brother." She admitted disdain tinting her voice,"Wolves eat little birds... Lord Baelish should remember that."Ā
āYou want Jon to be your king? Well you can pick whoever you want as your king.ā She knew that as she grew older those wishes might change. āI think both of them are excellent choices for who will work at your side. A queen instead, that would shock everyone. I like that, but what it comes down to is that you are happy.ā
The tiny girl nodded at the question,"Of course I do." The tiny girl looked down her cheeks became a rosy color. "He and I sometimes sleep in the godswood mommy... I think the gods would like Jon as my king. I think they sent him just for that." She moved to take her mother's hand to lead her to the godswood,"I would be very happy because a happy Queen is a just and fair queen."
"Rhaegarās son and Robertās bastard daughter, sharing a crown. Ā thatās got to be the joke of the year. " he drew out on the last part considering what she had to say. it would bring peace between her side and his - how ever. his claim were doubted by many.. taking the usurpers bastard as his wife.. it might cause Loyalist to raise against him.. "thank you, i suppose?"Ā
"It's better then the Lannister Bastards holding the throne." She crossed her arms, as she continued to look him over. "Your welcome, it mean your sons will have a strong build. No one wants a man who is weak." Truth was Rose had never wanted to marry for power or anything but, she knew that if she didn't with this man her chances of being Queen where slim.
"Are you suggesting i propose marriage to you." Aegon didnāt point out that being a king without a queen was easier than the other way aroundĀ
"I was just pointing something out. If I was suggesting you and I marry. I would simply state that depending on who you ask we both have a claim to the throne why not share that claim." She bluntly stated as she looked him over calculating his build and look. "You have strong build..."Ā
"Are you going to get mad if I call you uncle?" Rose almost always walked as if on eggshells around Catelyn as well as any of the other Tully's. The bastard knew she didn't belong and The glares the woman gave her and Jon made her feel unwelcomed anywhere.
"What are you trying to say?"Ā
"I am saying neither of us can be King or Queen... Simply because every king needs a queen and vice versa."
