Random story time

I was listening to a story and one of the characters asked the other to explain their happiest memory, or their favorite memory. I heard that and tried to think about what MY favorite memory might be.....

But I can't really come up with an answer? What would most people say to that? A memory from early childhood? High-school? Maybe something more recent? I could probably answer something that happened this year...ive been learning to fish! Thats been a happy time!

But it made me realize that I hardly ever think about the past or my memories. Like, almost NEVER. And thats probably because I actually have very limited long term memory in the first place? If I were to try and remember specific event from even my high-school years I can only come up with a few fragments of scenes. I have almost no memory of my childhood.

I think this is also why ive always been so suspicious of nostalgia as a concept, which drives my dad crazy.

Anyway thats just something I noticed. Btw not having memories doesn't really bother me. I've always been more focused on the present moment and what I can do right now. 👍

Grim as a vampire...I've never stated this but Grim is supposed to be kind of vampire-y. Mages arent vampires but they have a lot in common with vampires 🤔

Friends! I need suggestions!

I really want to do more daily drawings for practice and for fun but I'm out of ideaaaas (i've just been focusing on drawing pages!!) So to generate some inspiration I'm thinking: Outfit swaps!!

I had a realization today. I've created a world where theres no day night cycle so my characters will need to keep track of time in a different way. The bird people probably just keep to a loose schedule of 3 meals to 2 sleeps and don't really track time.

But what about the mages? How would a society of entirely physically female individuals in a world with no day night cycle keep track of time?

I think Grim needs to have a watch with a face that looks like this 😂
