I'm still thinking about the airport scene, is the ‘running to airport to one's love’ trope, cliche, overdone, corny and horribly executed in most cases? Yes

but the mentalist knows this and takes advantage of it, jane’s composure is no where to be seen, he’s sloppy and clumsy. Till now he acted cool about Lisbon trying to trick her into staying, because he’s scared obvi so overblown romantic gesture is what right, Jane who was terrified to even himself that he loved lis, telling an entire plane of people that he loves at the top of his lungs. Is just ahhhh. Also you gotta hand to baker and robin for selling the scene, because in any other case it would been cringey but Jane for first time letting out all his emotions and lis trying not break. Their voice cracks and the pauses, the scene was just perfect.

something so profound about him just wanting lisbon to know about his love for her and not even expecting to reciprocate or accept it because he knows he has hurt but still she deserves to know that she is loved by him!!!!!!
