Highlights from this year include shooting 2 music videos with @sonagur, sleeping in an airstream in the middle of the desert, getting my first tattoo, and creating art direction for @goldlink. But I feel this doesn’t really matter. What’s important to me are the stories I’ve shared with the people I’ve met (thank you). It’s finding the courage to love and feel fully, and not apologizing for it. It’s realizing my worth is not determined by the price tag on my work. It’s being able to break and still see light. Not fear to be honest. Or to be brave. I’m still learning.

need some background noise?

while looking for something to block out the annoying chaos that’s going on in my house right now, I stumbled upon some websites that are pretty awesome for blocking out distractions:

Rainy Mood - very simple website that plays the sound of a thunderstorm and gives you the option to add their song of the day.

Jazz and Rain - similar to raining mood but with a wider variety of music including chillstep and electro swing along with the jazz. The website also has links to other music sites with the same format but they don’t include the rain.

Shower Time -  this one made me giggle. it’s the background sound of a shower with the option to change the water pressure, the size of your bathroom (how far away the shower sounds) and what song to play on the radio. although all the songs seem to be about showers. the only drawback is that the shower only last for 10 minutes at the max but you could always start over.

Sound Drown -  with this one you can mix and match as many sounds as you want so if you want to hear a coffee shop at night in the rain with a fire you can absolutely have that. 

A soft Murmur - similar to sound drown just with different options.

Mood Turn - a collection of different environments. Surprisingly one of them is dolphins. 

Forrest Mood - just like rainy mood but with a forest.

Blazing Logs - a virtual fire for your listening pleasure.

August Ambiance - kinda gives the feel of laying outside on the porch in… well, august

Get Classy -  wanna feel like an old rich guy smoking a pipe in his robe? then listen to this one. nice fire and smooth jazz.

Calm - Whats nice about this one is that it gives you some beautiful scenery to look at as well. so if you wanna listen to the waves crashing you can watch them too.
