1.15.26 - Struggling with some paper quality issues in my Sterling Ink bound books and the cosmo air inserts. I’ve experimented a lot with different pen/ink combos and I’m just not happy with the results. Making the jump into the a5 cousin and sticking with it for now. Dated daily pages aren’t my go to but worst case I can just disregard the dates at the top and tread it like a blank notebook.

Rings finally got me. Added this personal Filofax to the mix last month and it’s working as my daily task book.

Glimpses of September so far. I’ve been having a great time in the weeks and feel like it’s finally clicked. Secured my sky blue weeks mega for 2026 too! It’s waiting patiently on my shelf 🖤 I may diy my own Moomin cover but still undecided on that.

Been toying with typing/printing out my memory keeping. I’ve struggled keeping up with my books when my tendonitis flares up, so this may be the answer I’ve been looking for. With this new development, I’m starting to convince myself into sticking with vertical weeks for 2026 and placing typed snippets when needed.

The experimentation continues. Testing out a horizontal weekly layout before I fully jump to this format for next year. I’m enjoying the extra space and I think this may be the move.

Planner season is rapidly approaching and I’m jumping around a lot in efforts to figure out what my next system will be. For now, I’m landing firmly on the weeks mega, day free and a5 commonplace book.

Whenever work gets a bit hectic my brain needs a simplified system. I’ve loved revisiting a passport size and the nolty fits perfectly in my tn. The goal is to keep this as a work only book and have my a5 house everything else.
