Had a great day and had to pause and reflect about the amazing things I have witnessed as I enter my 38th year. The Dom was to not just celebrate my birthday (I could seriously drink any champagne), however this 2006 Vintage I was saving for a special occasion, and when my mom asked me what we would drinking, this just felt right. It’s amazing to think that one day I will have to explain to children (potentially mine and/or others) about life before Google and social media. How you had to “request” a song from the radio to record it and pray that the DJ either didn’t have a long intro or cut the song short. How we remembered phone numbers on a regular basis (technically when you have parents who worked for the phone company you still can remember numbers for some reason now). How we will have to explain how many achievements we saw, and also not being aware of the “history” that was being experienced in your day to day activities and life. I feel blessed and grateful to enter this 38th year of my life and finishing this beautiful day with a Spiced Pear Old Fashion (a lovely person suggested I drink bourbon today and I did, thanks for that suggestion). I cannot wait to experience many more years of life and what it has to offer. Thank you for the warm wishes and be well!
