Honestly people in this fandom need to stop using the excuse that PB is apparently “low on budget” to justify the amount of low quality books with lackluster diamond scenes we got this year. We have no way to know for sure if that’s the case, but I HIGHLY doubt it is. There are TONS of people who play their game and the fact that Choices is the first mobile game app this year proves it. I am ready to bet that they have the money. More than enough to put out good, quality content. It’s just that... well, you see, here’s the thing... Those money would rather remain in the company’s owners pockets than be invested in giving us quality books! And honestly, even if their budget isn’t the greatest, as I have said on other occasions, you do NOT need money to come up with good plot ideas and good writing. You only need creativity and some decent writing skills. And time.

They’re just lucky there are a lot of people with... less refined taste, so to speak, who would buy every shit PB throws at them, so PB does not feel pressed to put in the effort or money to create good books.

although I do agree on certain aspects (as in: some books weren’t that great and some scenes or chapters weren’t either), they did put out good books that resonated well with their audience. And assuming that there are “people with... less refined taste” is kind of rude, because there are so many people who know what quality is and still enjoy buying diamonds/keys to enjoy what PB gives them. by no means do i want to offend you with this, I just wanted to put things in different perspectives (although I certainly accept your opinion!!!)

Don’t worry, you’re not offending me. Yes, there are people who know what quality is, of course, I never said otherwise, but I stick by my opinion that there are also people who have lower standards and would be content with everything PB throws at them, even if it’s not that good.

but is that a bad thing? I mean the main goal of the app is to satisfy people, and if a lot of people are happy with what PB gives them, their goal is achieved, right? I do see where you’re coming from, and I do kind of agree, but I also think that there will always be some sort of dissatisfaction, no matter what PB does
