You were a reluctant agent from Piltover. The reason why you still put up with the job was to be able to earn enough to support you and your little sister. Living in a place which was controlled and composed like Topside was expensive. “What do you want, sweetheart?” Sevika raised a brow, clearly she mistook you for a stripper. You flushed.
“I need to talk to you.” You huffed, arms crossing. “Privately.” You added.
Sevika exhaled a long stream of smoke before stubbing out her cigarillo, eyes narrowing as she leaned back in her chair. “Privately, huh?” She glanced around the Last Drop, then back at you, amusement flickering in her gaze. “You sure about that, sweetheart? Not many come out in one piece after asking me for a private chat.”
You swallowed, forcing yourself to hold your ground. “I’ll take my chances.”
She chuckled, the deep, raspy sound sending a shiver down your spine. Without breaking eye contact, she slammed her flesh fist on the table, rattling the scattered poker chips. “Out,” she commanded.
The room fell silent. Patrons, gamblers, and stragglers exchanged wary glances before scrambling to leave. No one dared to question her. Within moments, the Last Drop was empty, save for the two of you.
Sevika stood slowly, rolling her shoulders. You tensed, every instinct on high alert.
“So,” she drawled, taking a step closer. “Tell me, sweetheart. What could a little stripper like you possibly need to talk to me about?”
Your fingers twitched at your sides. “I’m not a stripper.”
She tilted her head, mockingly thoughtful. “No? Could’ve fooled me. You put on a real good show last night.”
Your jaw clenched. You weren’t here to entertain her. Then your eyes widened. How did she know that was you?
“You work for Piltover, don’t you?” Sevika’s voice dropped, her amusement vanishing in an instant. “And you’re here to kill me.”
Before you could react, she lunged.
You sidestepped, staggering and backing into a wall as you saw Sevika gather balance again.
She grabbed the edge of her poncho, throwing it off and revealing her mechanical arm. She smirked at you, taking three glowing Shimmer vials out of her bandolier. Your eyes widened when you saw her inserting them in her mechanical arm, and it whirred, glowing purple.
“Fuck.” You cursed under your breath. “You're nothing without that arm, are you?” You took a small step back, and almost screamed like a little girl when Sevika unsheathed the glowy red machete of her arm. You staggered out of range again, mind racing. Suddenly, you didn't know how to attack anymore. You were just dodging. Focus. You told yourself.
Sevika charged again, and this time you took the chance to slip out your dagger, landing a stab in her right shoulder, blocking her mechanical arm from her own rescue. Sevika grunted in pain, but she barely flinched.
Sevika’s expression twisted into something wicked, a mixture of pain and exhilaration. She grabbed your wrist with her flesh hand, tightening her grip like a vice. Before you could react, she twisted your arm, forcing you to drop the dagger with a sharp cry.
“Cute trick,” she rasped, eyes gleaming with something dangerously close to respect. “But you’ll need more than that, sweetheart.”
With a sudden jerk, she yanked you forward, slamming her knee into your stomach. Air whooshed out of your lungs as you staggered back, barely managing to stay on your feet. Sevika rolled her shoulder, the dagger still embedded in her flesh, as if testing how much it hindered her. The answer? Not much.
She smirked. “That all you got?”
You wiped at your mouth, tasting blood. “Not even close.”
Adrenaline surged through you as you lunged forward, feinting to the right before twisting at the last second to aim a punch at her temple—right where you’d seen her bump her head before.
Your fist connected. Hard.
Sevika grunted, staggering to the side, her massive frame wobbling for just a moment. You didn't waste time—using her brief disorientation, you spun behind her, aiming a kick at the back of her knee to knock her down.
But Sevika was faster.
She pivoted sharply, catching your leg mid-air with her mechanical arm. “Nice try.”
Panic flared in your chest as she yanked, sending you crashing onto the wooden floor. Your back hit the ground hard, pain jolting through your spine. Before you could scramble up, Sevika was on you, straddling your waist and pinning your wrists above your head with her flesh hand.
Her weight pressed down, leaving you breathless. You struggled, but her grip was ironclad.
“That was a good hit,” she admitted, voice low, almost approving. “Smart. Fast. But you’re in over your head, agent.”
You glared up at her, chest heaving. “Go to hell.”
Sevika raised her mechanical arm, machete unsheathing again glowing in the dark room. “I'll meet you there.” She said, voice nonchalant as if killing agents was the regular for her. But you wouldn't give in so easy. You forced your head up, colliding your forehead with hers. It hurt you but you had no choice, you needed to disarm her before she killed you.
You reached back, grabbing your switchblade and charged at her. Sevika anticipated an attack directed towards her, but no, instead you cut through the bandolier, pulling it off and smashing it to the ground. Shimmer vials shattered, forming a purple puddle where it did.
“That was a fucking mistake.” With all the drug left in her system, Sevika slammed you against the wall, forcing the heated mechanical arm on your neck, making you smell the scent of your own skin burning. You winced.
You were desperate. Wrecking your brain for any lingering information about Sevika's weaknesses.
Your vision clouded.
Oh. Then it clicked.
She didn't wear a bra. Your hands reached up and unexpectedly pinched both nipples hard. Sevika wouldn't have reacted on a normal Tuesday. But this time she was actually flabbergasted when she pulled away from you, almost protectively shielding her tits with her flesh arm. “What the fuck!?”
In all her years of service, she'd not once encountered something like this. Sevika glared at you. You took the chance, kicking her in the stomach making her double over. Sevika stumbled, spitting blood to the ground. You took out your taser. But Sevika was faster this time. She grabbed your taser hand, spinned you around, her front cradling your back and she forced your charged taser into your own ribs.
A violent jolt tore through your body as the taser made contact with your ribs. Every nerve lit up in agony, a searing, electric burn radiating from the point of impact. Your muscles seized, locking up like iron chains had wrapped around your limbs.
Your knees buckled first. A choked gasp left your lips as your vision blurred, black spots creeping in from the edges. The pain was unbearable—like your entire body was being wrung out and set on fire at the same time. The last thing you heard was your own scream of agony, before it died down. Static in your ears and you collapsed.
