One thing I DO like about fandom is seeing several different ways that people view and interpret one piece of media. Seeing one character in hundreds of different styles. AUs and redesigns and headcanons and lil design tweaks in fanart. I think that's really cool.

I realized recently I haven't properly drawn all of my mane six redesigns in literal YEARS soo time to change that! not much is different, just altered some colors and tried to make them less cluttered but they're kinda iconic the way they are,,can u tell fluttershy is my favorite one to draw...

Imo public media and physical media are peak alternatives to YouTube. Public radio, PBS, libraries, books, CDs, DVDs, etc. I'm certain that there's some cons somewhere, but ya'll, it feels sooooo much better to be supporting public media, even if it's just for background noise or simple entertainment (they especially need the support now). And with physical media, I feel much more of a sense of ownership. It's like, you buy it once and it's all yours. No subscription fee. No ads (well there's previews on DVDs but you can skip past those). Anyways, back to listening to old jazz fusion CDs :>

Remember this? I'm bringing this up again bc I have a feeling physical media needs support and protection even more right now. Digital media like DVDs and game discs specifically. Physical media is not only good but it's important, and I'm seeing it slowly be abandoned in production.

Watched Goat last week, it's pretty good :> Plot flows well. Love the character design. Art/animation is GORGEOUS ofc. Bold, energetic, rugged, dynamic, exactly what I'd expect for a movie about animal sports lol. Would've loved to see those cool cinematic shots in a theater

My favorite part is how heavily they lean into the "animal" part of the "animal-people" trope, in their body language, their environment, and ESPECIALLY with the sports (LOVE how their animal features are used in Roarball OMG).
