Unfortunately, I have to announce that I will be leaving this fandom…idk for how long or if I’m ever coming back. But thank all of you for all the support you’ve shown me, when I made this account, I thought I would maybe get a few likes, but now my most liked post has over 400 likes and so many reblogs. Not to mention that I thought my Ao3 wouldn’t do good either, but my most liked fic is a fic I made in 2 hours and it has 142 kudos.

As I’ve said before my obsession with Httyd will definitely come back, but my motivation to write definitely won’t, not next time around. I’ll always be on tumblr but I won’t be posting anymore, not here.

honestly, that’d also be genuinely great for communicating silently in flight so avoid having to shout over the wind. in that case, they might have two sets: one with large gestures to be seen over distances during flight; and another with understated gestures for silent communication in enemy territory as in the original prompt

It can be used for so many situations it’s kinda making me wish we got at least one episode in all of the series where the riders learned some sign language, the twins already speak in different languages in rtte, why not have them discover sign language as well? Maybe I’ll write a fic for it

I’ve been having the worst tooth pain of my life since a week and I also almost passed out in the shower today, so tuffnut better run before I put my pain onto him

I feel like something we don’t take advantage of enough in fics is the fact that we seen all the riders sleep deprived and we can do a lot with that information.

Make them stay up overworking themselves for days at a time and they get so sleep deprived that someone notices and everyone steps in.

Or maybe they have nightmares every night and can’t sleep so when they show up to breakfast one day sleep deprived and acting crazy everyone makes them spill why they haven’t been sleeping and then the tears start flowing.

Is how they act sleep deprived also how they act drunk? That could also be useful

I feel like something we don’t talk about enough is how Gruffnut treated Tuffnut. I mean he manipulated (is that the right word?) him into believing he was this cool guy who did everything right and made Tuffnut look up to him, and then he just switched up on him out of nowhere.

He literally knocked him out, SWITCHED THEIR CLOTHES WHILE HE WAS UNCONSCIOUS and tied him up and left him somewhere.

Headcanon that the twins go to Hiccup every time they have a problem or get into trouble, and Hiccup taking it seriously and helping them no matter what they did.

Tuffnut going to crash with Hiccup for the night and Hiccup being completely fine with it.

Instead of throwing him out he welcomes him, and he lets him ramble on about nonsense until he falls asleep next to him.
