Me wanting to yap my heart out about my AUs and the stories they tell, but forcing myself to follow a made up rule that I must draw it first before posting anything.
I really am my own problem.... (vent below.)
I really feel like I am losing so much time and, most likely, it is my own fault. The life is passing by too fast, before I am ready to move along with the time. More than anything I am afraid to lose my passion before I can put my ideas out. But it already feels like people don't care as much about hearing about those anyway.
Literally everything I do is TOO FUCKING SLOW!!! I had the whole summer to do several projects of mine and finish some of the university responsibilitys. But guess what? NOTHINGGG OUT OF MY PLANS IS DONE!!! And not ONLY my natural tempo is slow, but I am so easily distracted. Annoying, wasteful and painful to be aware of.
I know that the solution probably would be to lower the bar of quality of my fan work. To not be such a perfectionist about everything. But it is so fucking HARD when I feel stomach churning disgust when the work doesn't look good enough. I really wish I could do just sketches that are somehow already charming and memorable. I so fucking wish.

The Head of the Illusion Coven - Augustus Porter!!!

In this AU, Gus is an antagonist. He is a friend of the Empress Luzura and extremely loyal to her.
Porter thinks of himself as the human-expert and, most obviously, he is responsible for most of the propaganda "public awareness" of the human threat. He genuinely thinks his research on them and all of his hypothesis's are absolutely correct. Especially with how Luzura has poisoned the well, rewards the bad faith interpretations of the otherworldly discoveries and "proves" them right by her personal "testimonies". Gus doesn't see any reason to doubt the words of the most powerful witch, the empress and, most importantly, his dear friend. So he continues on with his research of the humanity's crooked mirror and manages the public's opinions through media curation.
Currently, Gus Porter is dating the Head of the Construction Coven - Mat Tholomule. Talisman and me haven't came up with any special details on that front, but, I don't think they wouldn't be far from how it could work in canon show.
In season 2 of this AU, Porter is the one who comes to Hexide with the empress coven scouts and guards to make sure every kid gets a sigil before the Day Of Unity. Will Alador be able to stop him and also protect his step-sister Huntress from being arrested?
In the Epilogue, Gus Porter actually becomes involved with international (or more like interdimensional) relations between the Demon and Human realm. Which is ironic, taking in the account of his pastor.

The Head of the Potion Coven - Boscha Ripperonymus!

Little bit of Lore~
Boscha Ripperonymus was married to Amity Blight and is actually the second biological mother of Alador Blight.
Boscha had been putting too much pressure onto her son to succeed and perform well at all the types of magic for years. That only led Alador to push himself beyond his own limits out of guilt, have a nervous breakdown and fail in every class with bad consequences to his health. This became the main reason for the Amity to demand a divorce.
Boscha still can't get over the broken relationship and inability to see her son anymore. Although, even if she understands that it is her fault, she struggles to actually change. "I miss my son and wife, Tails. I miss them a lot."
From the start of the second season leads underground rebellion. Failed execution of Lilith the Lady Raven, Evelyn Clawthorne and Philip Wittebane pushed the potion coven head to fully lose her faith into Luzura's good intentions. Besides, what stops the Empress from eventually harming Alador? Especially since he goes to the same school as the two human children and is friends with Caleb Wittebane? Not to mention the treatment of the Starlight Guard.
Eventually, in the epilogue of the AU, Boscha Rippernymus gets into the romantic relationship with Willow Park, the head of the plant coven.

I am not too proud of the design for Boscha I ended up with. Mostly because I am not sure that it really tells the viewer much about her as a character. Although, in a way, the coven head's clothes look unfitting in a way that kind of implies that "hey, something is wrong; this is not who Boscha is". And that could play into her sort of redemption arc with the rebellion, where the design can truly feel "hers". More crabby.
I know I have other big projects to draw (I AM WORKING ON THEM I DIDN'T FORGET), but, I literally woke up at 5 am and started drawing this design because I felt too inspired and couldn't sleep for hours with my mind going brrrrrrr!! Now I have a bunch of bald stick-wo/men of all the AU coven heads, waiting for me to design them... When Im gonna do it? I have no idea. My obsessive brain keeps screaming "DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST AND FIND GOOD INSPIRATION BEFORE STARTING OR YOU WILL FAIL AND IT WILL BE UGLY AF!" at me, so I am scared to start again yufyuldfyuldyul. But I want to finish this, just like all of my other wips...
I am still drawing the commission-sheet btw. The "shading" stage takes most of my time to finish. So I wonder if I should make a simpler version of it, and call the og "rendering" with the added highlights and other perks like that, because I put so much effort and time into it.
Being the cabin member [ prior to Luz ] who heads out the most often, Kikimora is a well-known figure among the Imperial Isles' citizens.
Due to her close friendship with Wisteria, however, most only know her as the most wanted criminal on the Isles' partner-in-crime.
Trying to not allow the general public's animosity towards herself and her allies affect her outlook, she lends her support to family and the few friends she's had. Even then, as a demon of shorter stature, Kikimora struggles to prove her competence with even her allies.
Kikimora doesn't [ often ] regret her life choices, but she wishes she could earn at least a modicum of the Isles' respect.
I HAVE FINALLY PASSED ALL MY EXAMS AND FINISHED THIS DIFFICULT SEMESTER!! AND I SURVIVED!!
I am SO happy to finally return to drawing and writing! But now I am also practicing psychology consulting-. So like-. A REAL JOB-. Kind of. I am not payed enough to actually EARN from it. SO I WILL TRY TO OPEN COMMISSIONS ASAP!!
You can wait until I actually draw out the price-list with examples, or, if you are already certain that you want to make an order - DM ME! But you don't have to.
AND OTHER THAN THAT! I plan to at least try to write fanfiction on my Caleb headcanon and @talisman975 AU - SSAPS! At least I can die trying. ALSO, I didn't forget about the asks you sent me about MY AUs!! I will be finishing the wips I have with the responses to them! (And I will try not to overwork myself with them. Comment if you don't mind sketches, but I also want to practice in short sketchy comic strips.)

Yep. Me with my mean Caleb again. Thats how I see Cavelyn's early dynamic. They are both menace to society and making each other worse. (Btw I am still hella busy, just got some hours of freedom and decided to treat myself for good grades. ... This was supposed to be a sketch guys...)
Currently I am in uni and.. I have no time to draw. At all. All I manage to do is eat, sleep and study. Not much time for hobbies or other activities.
I'm not the best in terms of my mental health either. Not to mention how my country adds more and more restrictions on the internet. I fear I may lose contacts to all my friends. It sucks.
I dont think I will be able to produce art untill summer. A sketch maybe, but I wouldn't hope for it.
