Pretty stoked to get to see @runrivernorth live with @tashannix for having only been introduced to them a few months ago #RunRiverNorth #Live #SunstockSolarFestival (at Magic Box LA)
A month later and still trying to get rid of tan lines 🌞😎 (at Stearns Wharf)

Day 13: Had a touristy day with the roommates, despite the rainy weather. Stopped by Christiansborg. The second picture is a remnant of me almost locking myself in a stairwell when we decided to take a "shortcut". We then took a stroll through Rosenberg and went on a quite chilly canal tour. Ended the night celebrating a classmate's birthday 🎉 #studyabroad #Copenhagen #Denmark #Christiansborg (at Christiansborg Palace)
Day 10: Last full day of our study tour Spent an afternoon at the Playfield Institute, a mental health institute for children, where we explored non-traditional psychotherapy methods through interactive workshops. ☕️ Afternoon high tea at the Tower Restaurant 🍻 Hit up a number of bars to close off our last night in Edinburgh #studyabroad #Scotland #Edinburgh #hightea (at Tower Restaurant)
Day 9: Third day of the study tour Attended a group meditation session with an ordained Buddhist in Glasgow. Had a long lunch at the Balloch House. They were over an hour late with our food and caused us to miss our canoeing trip 😔 We ended up staying in the little town, got ice cream, and went on a boat tour on Loch Lomond 😊 When we got back to Edinburgh, we all broke up into groups to get dinner. Caught this lovely gloomy, yet comforting snap from the top terrace where we had dinner. #Scotland #Edinburgh #studyabroad (at Greater Grassmarket)
Day 8: second day of our study tour. Hiked up to Arthur's Seat, Scotland's highest point, where we all meditated and basked in the nature of this gorgeous city. Enjoyed some scrumptious cakes at the Elephant House, where JK Rowling wrote the first HP book. The bathroom was my fav. #Scotland #Edinburgh #studyabroad #ArthursSeat #TheElephantHouse (at Arthur's Seat)
Day 7: First day of our study tour in Edinburgh, Scotland. Immediately upon arrival, we went on a walk'n'eat'n'drink tour, where we had smoked salmon, a prosecco & gin cocktail , ox cheek with mashed potatoes, blood pudding, cheese and beer, whisky 🥃 tasting, haggis, and their national dessert of raspberries and cream. Yes, we were all pretty tipsy by not even the end of the tour and our tour guide was maybe just a tad annoyed of us 🤣 Spent the rest of the night at Black Bull pub where we sang along to some A+ live musician who could play the guitar, banjo, and harmonica. #studyabroad #Edinburgh #Scotland #EdinburghCastle (at Edinburgh Castle)
Day 6: Late start with lunch at the Greasy Spoon Diner. Service was not up to our American standards. Also still slightly salty that they charge for water 😞 Sunbathed and drank wine with friends and roommates at Islands Brygge 🌞🍷 Tivoli Gardens. Fun walk through and screamed through two rides 🎢 Capped the night off with a nice talk with a good friend by the canal as we watched the fireworks 💥 #Copenhagenlovin #Denmark #studyabroad #summeratdis #Copenhagen #IslandsBrygge (at Islands Brygge)
Day 5: Superdog and raspberry mojito at Paper Island 😋 #studyabroad #summeratDIS #Denmark #Copenhagen #PaperIsland #Papirøen #CopenhagenStreetFood (at Copenhagen Street Food - PapirØen)
Day 4: Lived out our little tourist hearts in this postcard city. Meet my lovely roomies!! Couldn't have asked for any better babes to be living with 💕 #studyabroad #Copenhagen #Denmark #summeratDIS (at Nyhavn)
Day 3: 6 hours of class today 💀 (1) Got lunch from Fresh Bagel. Insanely good and incredibly filling! 😋 (2) Went to a modern art museum with some classmates because it was free. It was...interesting. It was more of an art exhibit than a museum. We were just glad that it was free. On the way to the museum, we strolled through Strøget. This street was the most concentrated amount of people I've seen in the city so far. (3) First time seeing the 🌞out today since I've been here! Ah, felt so good! 😊 (4) Tried a Kronengbourg 1664 Blanc at Heidi's with a few classmates and discussed our colleges and our corresponding states (CA, MI, IL, and CO). Mostly made fun of how SoCal peeps can't handle "cold" weather. (5) Went on a midnight trip of grocery shopping for the first time here! A mundane activity but it's part of living in Copenhagen, being more immersive than a tourist, and also, ladies gotta save money 🙃#DISabroad #Copenhagen #Denmark #studyabroad #København (at Caritasbrønden)
Day 1: After 16 hours of travel, a run through the Swedish airport, and a missed flight, I made it to Copenhagen! It's been amazing for a first day: 1) Immediately befriended two girls flying out on the same flights to the same program. One of them turns out to be living on the same housing floor as me! 2) On my first flight (to Stockholm, which was 10 h 45 mins), I got super lucky and had no one sitting on both sides of me. Also had no messy accidents with my motion-sickness-prone body through any of my flights. WINS. 3) Despite missing our connecting flight, which is actually a pretty hilarious and frustrating story (you can totally ask me about it), we were still able to get another flight and still fit into our program's bus pick-up schedule. 4) I was incredibly anxious to be living with two roommates, but they turned out to be super nice!! So is pretty much everyone else on our floor and this all feels like the dorm experience I idealized about before my actual college freshman dorm experience. Fingers crossed it stays this awesome. 5) Had a really nice dinner with all the other peeps living in our building where we also got to meet our RAs, who are super funny and chill. 6) And finally, walking around the city of Copenhagen felt like I was walking, breathing, and living in a postcard. It's too surreal. #DISabroad #studyabroad #Copenhagen #Denmark (at Copenhagen, Denmark)
