quarantine is taking a toll on me.

it’s been a long while since i went on tumblr, like a long while. the last time i went online, i still had high hopes for the future. i wanted to be a writer since i was a kid, i just wanted to write. the last time i was here i was still that person.

as i grow older, the world became colder and monotonous. ctrl+c, ctrl+v became real. it’s not something i minded as a student but i didn’t realise that it was something i would grow to hate as a young adult. every day is the same frustrating repetitive cycle.

maybe it’s the quarantine. maybe i should get a new hobby. i started looking into listicles on how to stay sane during quarantine so far in.

i feel like i’m losing my mind. i feel directionless, so tethered to my every day life.
