After quitting med school, I picked up on my creative outlets again. I realised I had neglected some of my most vital qualities while studying to become a doctor. My need to help other people still remained, but I didn’t want to neglect these important parts of me anymore. I set out to look for a way to help out others, but do it in a fun and creative way. Some people have led the way for me. My boyfriend, David Schagerström, has studied at Hyper Island. He went on to direct a short film in Tunisia about a small jewellery brand that supports women that are victims of domestic abuse by learning them a trade. My friend Gareth Broadbent created an inspiring plead to Coca Cola to assign their campaign money to saving the Amazon rainforests. He collaborated with multiple Hyper Island people. Even writing about it excites me beyond - I want to be a part of this.
