Drawing frequently doesn't make or break you as an artist. I've also lost technique and ambition during the years but I know I Am Still an Artist. As someone 10 years your senior, these feelings are normal. Just as normal as feeling slightly annoyed by everyone telling you to just "take a break". Ive had major gaps in drawing. I still love her. She always comes back when she's meant to. I know she'll return to you too, Caky.
