Angela and Allen: Love Can’t Wait!

I remember tweeting @touristyee:“I just had a meeting with a client, and they’re just my age!!!” And then I got a reply from my boss, @jasonmagbanua:”don’t even think about it”.

I asked Allen’s mom why she allowed them to marry at such a young age (23 years old), and she just said, “I don’t want to lose Angela. I love her for my son.”

They met during a wedding of someone they both know. She was sitting alone as the bridesmaid, and yes, quite expectedly Allen was the guy who asked her to dance.

As to the terms of working it out, Angela and Allen both lived in different cities in Australia. Having a long distance relationship wasn’t easy. Allen was pretty much lucky to have a very supportive family. He would tag along his family during the long drives just to visit Angela.

Nevertheless, every long drive, skype calls, chats, just to reach Angela was worth it.

They say you don’t have to taste the whole cake for you to know that you really really like it.

another step closer. i don't know for how long are we gonna walk on thread. i am looking forward to the time that the waves stop trying to toss us out of our boat. i cannot simply laugh at the waves now. i'm scared that if i lose my grip even for a second, i'll get pulled by the current and drown. i am unsure if i'm happy or sad anymore. the two are quite the same for now. i'm happy when you're around and scared when you're away. i don't know how long will you be able to tell me you're still happy with us. but still i'm thankful that you exist. may i be the one who got away or you, always will i love you.

Real Holy week

How did you spend the Holy Week?

Out of your house? Under the burning sun? Lying on fine white sand? Doing pilgrimage?

These are just some of the things that we do when holy week comes, along with these are what we call "fasting". This is the act were we abstain from something good in exchange of something better for our life. It is our means of sacrifice. Some abstained from eating meat of all kinds, some abstained from drinking alcoholic drinks and so on and so forth.

I, as well, had my own share of this "fasting" during the holy week. We did not eat meat, I didnt go out to some tourist destination but stayed inside the house and locked myself up in my room. But when I thought it's the greatest sacrifice i'll ever make, something happened.

My boyfriend will be leaving the country for a vacation starting on tuesday. As a clingy person I tend tot ext and call him at different hours of the day. I was also accustomed to him being there, talking to me until I finally fall asleep. But his vacation trip would surely test my patience, understanding and hopefully train me not to be clingy much from now on.

I'll be making a 5 day blog series, so as to express the sentiment, the joy, the fun, the hardship of doing something I haven't done in like a year - not texting/ calling the person you want to be there always..
