So, we’ve been a bit...ghostly as of late. But! There’s good news! We’ve been having a lot of exciting new things in the works! This includes starting an Etsy, and starting a brand new knitwear branch of our company! Above is a preview of the catalog. I’m super proud of it! I built it (mostly on my own) from the ground up, photo and layout design especially. ^_^ Can’t wait to start sending it out.  In the mean time, our Etsy is still getting off the ground right now, but we put our very first product up. This week I’m featuring the Etsy shop SometimesISwirl run by Sarah Hennessey, an illustrator that creates original black and white ink pen drawings! She sells her illustrations both as prints and as embroidered pieces on hoops. She has a nice balance of funny and fine art products, so there’s something in the shop for the 20 something just moving to the city, OR, the 20 something who just moved to the city’s mother for this upcoming mothers day! *cough*MAY10TH*cough* (yeah, I got your back, no worries). Anywho! I’m really liking this line drawing illustration she has of the buildings all connected together by different angles. It looks very inspired by Lisa Congdon, but I love that angular spin she puts on her work. I also love that the lines aren’t just plain, straight lines, but they’re broken up by dots. It makes the illustration appear as a collection of constellations...that they are all a part of something, as a community, that is so much bigger than just ink squares on paper, even though they are that simple....how’s that for a deep though on hump day?

Whether you want to be philosopher or not, you should check out this shop ! There’s also an awesome dinosaur embroidery piece that is incredible that I couldn’t feature on here, so keep an eye out for it!
