Howdy peeps. I haven't been on in forever. Like, literally. I've been quite busy and tbh, I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue with this blog. But I do. There are still so many things I want to make and share with you. Now that I'm back, I have to say ships are closed because most of the asks are just that. Ships. Don't get me wrong; they're great but that's not what I ever wanted for this blog. It may also take some time before I get back into the swing of things. Sherlock never was the type of person that would want a pet. He most definitely never was the type to mind his own business either though. While he was on a case, looking at the crime scene, he had heard a dog yelping when he was leaving. Typically he would carry on but this time, he went to see what had happened.

He had found the little pup outside with a chain around it’s neck that had looked to be too heavy for a dog it’s size. Sherlock took a look around and discovered that the owners hadn’t been home in days. He removed the heavy chains and took it to the only person he knew to.

“They must’ve put those chains on him the first day they got him...” Y/N mumbled as they looked the dog over. “He’s lucky that you found him. By the way, I did a little digging and found out that the neighbors reported his owners multiple times for abuse. Not only that, they moved. They just left him behind to die.”

“That doesn’t surprise me. It’s strange,” Sherlock began “He seems like a very happy dog.”

“Each dog reacts differently to abuse.” They explained. “Are you going to keep him?”

Sherlock looked at Y/N, “I don’t think I should.”
