Kiss Me
[ This is really just a bunch of fluff. It's like, 1,040 words or something. I don't know. ]
Harry sat in the car quietly, his head pounding and arm aching; Louis tried to talk to him-get him to respond, but he wouldn’t. “What are we going to do?” He heard Liam asked softly as they drove back to the hotel.
“I don’t know.” Louis murmured quietly. “I’ll see what I can do...” He glanced over at his boyfriend and sighed softly, taking his hand and intertwining their fingers.
They arrived to the hotel quickly and they all piled out, Harry and Louis walking in last, but with space between them. The two still weren’t out publicly, and this,Harry getting mobbed, made any possible contact-even just as friends- almost impossible.
When they reached the hotel room, Harry just sat down on the bed quietly. He didn’t speak and his face was void of emotion. He was thinking though: why did they do this? Why can’t the fans give us a break? Harry loved the fans-it’s true-but the fact that they can’t respect the boys enough to not mob them was ridiculous.
Louis looked at Harry; his normally happy face was now pretty much lifeless and his eyes were dull. Harry was hurting; Louis crawled into the bed beside Harry and just stayed at a distance. “They don’t mean to.” Was all he said, reaching a hand out and rubbing Harry’s arm. “Baby-” Louis said softly when Harry winced and moved away.
Harry stared blankly at the wall as Louis tried to comfort him; he felt bad for ignoring his boyfriend, but he just wanted quiet. “Okay,” Louis murmured with a frown. “I’ll uh...I’ll leave you along then.” He slowly slid off the bed and nibbled on his lower lip as he felt a hand grab his wrist.
“Don’t leave,” Harry pleaded quietly, avoiding Louis’ eyes. “I’m sorry; but don’t leave.” Louis looked at his broken boyfriend and nodded, slowly slipping back into the bed and holding Harry in his arms.
“Shh,” He murmured quietly, pressing a kiss into Harry’s hair. “It’s okay. I’m not going anywhere-not leaving you.” Louis left a few more small kisses to Harry’s head and began to sing softly. “Settle down with me,” He sang quietly. “Cover me up; cuddle me in.”
Harry sniffled and rolled over in Louis’ arms, looking at him. The taller boy leaned up and pressed a soft kiss to Louis’ lips, a ghost of a smile creeping onto his lips. “Lie down with me,” Harry sang quietly. “And hold me in your arms...” Louis smiled down at him.
“And your heart’s against my chest, lips pressed to my neck; I’m falling for your eyes, but they don’t know me yet.” Louis continued to sing, smiling softly as Harry gently pressed his lips to his boyfriend’s neck.
“And with a feeling I’ll forget; I’m in love now.” Harry sang, beginning the chorus with Louis.
“Kiss me like you wanna be loved, you wanna be loved, you wanna be loved.” They sang together, their voices molding together. “This feels like I’m falling in love, falling in love, we’re falling in love now.” Harry looked up at Louis with a small, soft smile on his face; he wiped at his eyes and looked down.
“You okay, baby?” Louis asked him softly, holding him tightly; Harry nodded slowly, bringing his eyes up to meet the other boy’s.
“Why’d they do it?” He asked quietly, a small whimper escaping as he remembered the day’s events-and why he was so upset. Harry cuddled further into his boyfriend, wishing that Louis would have an answer to fix everything.
Louis opened his mouth to say something, but then closed it-trying to find the right words. Harry was still so sweet and kind-hearted to everyone, he wasn’t a mean person. “Harry,” He started softly. “Sometimes, there isn’t an answer for things. It just happens and...you react a certain way.” Louis looked at him and kissed his head. “I’m not leaving you by yourself again though.” He promised. “Never.”
Harry sniffed and nodded. “But-I just don’t get it.” He whimpered quietly. “We do so much shit for them-go through so much...” Harry closed his eyes tightly. “Don’t we deserve a break?”
Louis nodded and rubbed the curly haired lad’s back. “I believe we do-and so do the other boys, but the fans-” Louis hummed. “The fans don’t always understand that.”
Harry spent the next few hours thinking about that with Louis curled up behind him; when Louis thought the boy was asleep and pressed a few soft kisses to his face. “You won’t ever go through that again.” He whispered softly; a ghost of a smile curved onto Harry’s lips, and that was when Louis giggled. “Thought you were sleeping.” He said softly.
The taller boy just shook his head, looking up at Louis. “I love you.” He told him quietly, and Louis smiled happily, taking him into his arms.
“I love you too.” He murmured, beginning to press soft kisses all over his boyfriend’s face. “So much.” Louis said, kissing below Harry’s jaw. A small giggle passed through Harry’s lips and he tilted his head down, capturing Louis’ lips with his own. “Do you feel better?” Louis asked him softly against his lips.
Harry pulled away and nodded, smiling softly. “I am,” He confirmed. “And it’s all because of you-always because of you.” That put a wide, bright smile onto Louis’ face and he began to pepper Harry’s face with kisses again. “Lou!” Harry giggled, playfully pushing him away.
“What?” Louis asked innocently, grinning and beginning to poke at Harry’s exposed side, causing the boy to jump.
Harry turned and looked at Louis with wide eyes. “You wouldn’t dare.” He said, trying to scramble away from Louis. A smirk curved onto Louis’ lips and he got up, running after Harry.
“Oh I would.” He said, pouncing gently onto Harry when he reached him and straddling him. Louis grinned down at him and began to tickle his sides.
“Lou-” Harry tried to say, but he was interrupted by a giggle. “Stop!” He gasped out after a few minutes of constant tickling.
“Say the magic word!” Louis exclaimed as he tickled Harry.
“Louis is amazing and I love him?” Harry tried with a sheepish smile. Louis giggled and stopped tickling him.
“Close enough.” He murmured softly, bending down to brush his lips over Harry’s. “I love you.” He murmured.
Harry smiled up at Louis, gently pressing their lips together. “I love you too.” He murmured back.
