Yet, my family is exhausted too. We are beyond tired.

for the next couple days i'll be focusing on a handful of fundraisers that are very far away from their goals as of posting this. these were verified by @/mohameddd a palestinian in gaza right now who i speak with directly, i trust their legitimacy!

Hazem Al-Bardawil: Hazem's house was the target of an israeli airstrike on the 11th of october, his pregnant wife and children were martyred on that day and he was severely injured and left bed-ridden in intensive care for several days. he recently created this campaign to raise money for treatment and shelter. 0/£20,000

Mohammed Matar: Mohammed is a civil engineer, he's had to evacuate with his family several times from gaza city to the south then to rafah and so on in search of shelter and safety. his wife gave birth in february, and they're unable to find basic necessities for their newborn daughter like diapers or formula milk. €652/€20,000

Hazem Khalil's family: Hazem's family, consisting of his parents, his 4 brothers and his sister, live in the north of the gaza strip in jabalia refugee camp. Hazem is organizing this campaign to provide basic necessities for his family for the time being, and raising enough money to evacuate by the time the egyptian border opens. they've managed to reach their initial goal of €5,000 so far, which is enough to evacuate his younger brother, and he's aiming to raise another €5,000 by next sunday for his younger sister's evacuation. €5,204/€50,000

Dear friends and kind strangers,I urgently need your support to help me raise funds to evacuate my family out of Gaza. This is the only way to help them survive. It breaks my heart that it has come to this, but this fundraiser is my last window of hope to secure the necessary funds to evacuate them. My father and my two brothers urgently require medical attention, and time is of the essence. I am Eman Abu Hayya. I have survived four Israeli assaults on Gaza before leaving to pursue my studies in Philosophy in Doha, Qatar, back in 2017. While I reside in Qatar, my entire family remains in the Gaza Strip, trapped amidst the cruel and harrowing reality of ongoing genocide. My aim is to facilitate the evacuation of my loved ones from Gaza to ensure they receive the critical medical care they urgently need and to shield them from the constant threat of Israeli bombings and the dire scarcity of clean water, food, and healthcare. My family consists of 11 members: my mother Najat (49), my father Akram (60), three brothers Ahmed, Yahya and Zakaria (30, 27, and 22), one sister Shaima (24), two sisters-in-law Wafa and Hana (25 and 24), and three young nieces and nephews Najat, Hayat and Gaith (aged 1, 2, and 5). They deserve the chance to live full lives, and I cannot bear the thought of losing any of them. My two little nieces’ names mean Life and Survival (Hayat and Najat), respectively. Please help Eman. Donations have slowed down but my family's situation remains dire. Her family's house was destroyed. One of her brothers sustained a serious injury during the bombing which requires surgery while another has a serious medical conditions requiring immediate medical intervention. Hopefully we will start their medication and the necessary surgeries for them.

Let's get one thing straight: Israel was also killing protestors. Israel is killing protestors. Israel will kill protestors. All with complete impunity.

Arguing that "maiming protesters is in fact good" speaks volumes of the level of dehumanisation these Zionists have for Palestinians. They really expect us to bow down and be grateful that our occupier didn't kill us but crippled us for life instead.

With this same deplorable argument, burning ancient olive trees is ok. Destroying libraries is fine. Abducting children from their homes in the middle of the night is better than executing them in broad daylight. They are green-lighting genocide without even recognising it as such.

The way they believe that inherently we do not deserve other options like, you know, maybe not being shot at, or not being starved, or not being trapped in an open air prison - again speaks volumes of the levels of the dehumanisation of Palestinians.

As a reminder to everyone, the "shoot to maim" policy I was referring to became very prevalent during the Great March of Return which was a series of weekly protests held near the Gaza-Israel border demanding the end of the blockade and the return of the refugees. Between 2018-2019, Israel killed over 200 of these protestors, 46 of them were children. 36,000 were injured, 8,000 with live ammunition.

People cannot travel outside of Gaza for medical care most of the time, so they're living with pain and longterm health problems specifically because of that lack of ability to seek care. And who is preventing them from seeking care? Israel. Because of the blockade.
