Today were announced the winners of the #markgunterphotosawards2020 . I've participated in this contest since the first edition. And it's the only one I have participated on a regular basis, on the one hand to show my work in cycling photography, and on the other hand to support the main cause of this contest which is to help others, making all the benefits of it to the Tour de Cure and for the cancer research. And well...this year, I've been selected by the judges as the 2nd prize for the best photo of 2020! Which belongs to my project "Light Behind Lockdown". Honestly, I'm very happy to have been chosen as one of the 3 finalists of the 2020 contest. The first prize was for @cauldphoto and the second prize was for @eltoromediadotcom . But what makes me even more excited, is that from a project that I will get forward, during the first lockdown, in quite dark and difficult times for everyone, I could bring to "light" (never better said) this series of photos, which have brought me here. Until I was chosen as the winner of this 2nd prize. I have no words to thank all the people who have supported me in the project, to all the cyclists, professional and not professional, who accepted that a “crazy” person, from his phone via a videocall, told them how to take a picture, almost in the dark and only with the light of the TV, tablet or phone, for a project that he had in his head because he had nothing better to do while he was in lockdown at home. So..I can only tell you one thing: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting this "loco"! Part of this award, is also yours! . . . . #brazodehierro #strava #cycling #lightbehindlockdown #indoorcycling #indoortraining #cyclinglife #lifebehindbars #stravaphoto #stravacycling #cycling #cyclinglife @rawcyclingmag / @strava @markgunter.com.au / @cyclingtips (at Barcelona, Spain) https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ_plZqjrXS/?igshid=xinlpcspikie
