I'M PERSONALLY NOT A VERY BIG FAN OF THE NAME “SMALL EXE” BEING USED PAST 1.2'S FULL RELEASE.

IT MADE BETTER SENSE BEFORE, CONSIDERING IT SPAWNED FROM WHEN THE TWO EXE'S AT THE TIME WERE LITERALLY JUST “SONIC.EXE” AND “SONIC.EXE_2”. (“MENACE” AND “BRUTE” HONESTLY MADE FOR MUCH BETTER UNOFFICIAL NAMES.)

KOLOSSOS HAS SINCE GAINED HIS OWN UNIQUE NAME AND DESIGN TO DIFFERENTIATE HIMSELF FROM SONIC.EXE, SO IT MAKES NO SENSE TO CONTINUE CALLING SONIC.EXE “SMALL EXE”. I ALSO JUST THINK IT SOUNDS PLAIN INFANTALIZING.
