For those who didn’t know, Sabel is referenced in Cameron Crowe’s film Almost Famous. In the scene, William and band-aid Penny Lane arrive at the Riot House (Continental Hyatt House) a hot place for young artists, groupies, and musicians to hang out with in the 70′s. Sabel being the groupie “every musician wanted to meet in LA” is mentioned by another fellow band-aid supposedly because “Sable” did something to her. (She probably hook up with this Martin Bell guy)
