Danny grumbled, rubbing the sleep from his eyes at the sound of someone entering his apartment. He probably shouldn’t have fallen asleep on floor atop the sofa cushions, but his bed was just… too soft. This was better, but left little privacy if someone just walked in. But…they’d have to know where he kept his key… “Hello?” He fought sleep still, burying his face into the blanket he tucked around himself. He grumbled a little. Maybe he should get up. Maybe. When he did actually turn around, it was… “Matt? Hey.”

“Uhhh, hi,” Matt said, not surprised that he woke Danny up. He was trying to be quiet but at the same time he recognized that he probably shouldn’t just walk into other peoples’ residences without consulting them. Matt stepped into the room properly, “Sorry, I–I didn’t know where else to go. I brought food?” He held up the bag of take-out he’d retrieved from the Thai place a few blocks away, smiling a little bit. “I can put it in the fridge if you were busy sleeping though, I wouldn’t want to keep you up.”

Danny sat up and stretched his arms, the rest of his body complaining quietly in pain. His muscles were sore from... well, the last week and a half of training and getting his butt in shape. "Uh, no, no you're fine. Just..." He folded up the blanket he'd slept with and tossed it, along with the cushions, back on the sofa. "There. Sit, please, I'll make tea. Green, or black? I just got some really good Long Jing from the Asian market in China town." Danny headed towards the kitchenette, separated from the living space by only an island. "I'm actually glad you came. I think I slept in."
