Life of Ire: Arcanum of the Dead (Mulan AU, YuLan), has yet to be published. I'm gonna be posting what I can about it as I progress though. I'm trying to be a bit more consistent, so I'll do my best to post something every few days, be it art or about the fic itself! 🎉🎉🥳🥳

Meet My Mulan: Life of Ire AU! This is for an upcoming fic that I'm still in the process of writing (Still in prologue, send help 😭😭😭)

A little side note: Nothing is guaranteed to remain.

Progress is a bit slow at the moment due to the fact that I want to capture as much of the movie into the prologue before the certain part where it diverges (I'm ngl gng, I keep having to reread the part where Shang and the group leaves her as the start of fics- and while I don't mind it too much, I want to spice things up. /lh /nm)

I want to try and complete a bunch of chapters- if not fully complete it before posting it through scheduled updates (I don't want AO3 curse to mess me up or take my family /srs /hj). Either way, wish me luck ✌✌

Daisy drama

Alright gang it’s time to talk about this because during these few days alot has happened and stuff spiraled outta control.

@dragon-spaghetti , @trashasaurusrex and I basically started the Daisy AU (keyword AU) because it was fun. It wasn’t even like an official AU or anything at first we were just playing around with the concept. We like the idea of transfem Jax becoming Daisy, as well as the new ship daisybell. Here’s the thing: It was never meant to clash with the transfem Jax headcanon, which has been sparking drama between Jax fans, those who see him as a cis man with issue, or the transmasc Jax believers.

Personally, I don’t headcanon Jax to be trans at all. In canon I think he’s just a dude with fragile masculinity. Back to Daisy, I wrote a FANFICTION called “Her Name is Daisy” for the AU, creating a totally different world to be separated from canon. It’s fiction.

So what’s the drama? Daisy has become somewhat of a trend that some people on Reddit have become obsessed with. This week one person began spamming Daisy art in irrelevant spaces, causing disruption and confusion. Almost like 40 posts in one day, I believe. And it’s not even their art too…I think what upsets me the most is calling the Daisy fandom a “cult” and preaching it as that.

With the recent popularity, it’s expected that things would get out of hand, but I hope we can keep the community a respectful and gentle place so we can continue to thrive in it. I’m ending this with a thank you for all the love and support for the Daisy AU. We appreciate the hype but please please please try to keep it lowkey without bothering other members of the fandom.

ok but roadrunners are so cool, I can seldom think of a bird more velociraptor-like

more people need to know they’re real because look at this, this is some real walking with dinosaurs shit

they have powerful legs allowing them to run up to 20mph and leap to impressive heights with ease

they are extremely swift and fearless, quick enough to take down a sizable rattlesnake and other large prey animals like lizards and mice

they have several unique adaptations to thermoregulate, such as the dark patch of feathers on their back which acts as a solar panel to absorb heat, or its crest that either releases or absorbs heat by exposing its skin

they have these long, stiff tailfeathers that they use as a counterbalance when running, very reminiscent of the rod-like tail of a dromaeosaur

and they are capable of bursts of flight/gliding with incredibly beautiful plumage

I’m genuinely shocked how many people think they’re made up, they are real and they are AWESOME
