A portrait of an old OC I once had.
An ex-adjunct teacher of calculus, he’s working on getting an occupation as a robotics engineer.
Skaith, with Logo
A paid commission for a friend. He’s a small magpie named Skaith. He’s got the body of a hiker-hobbyist.
Henry, Animal-Crossing Style
A birthday gift for a good friend named Alex. This is an OC of his named Henry. He’s a huge, adorable weeb that likes the anime ‘Kill-la-Kill‘.
An alternative, interpretive design of the character Mangle, from the popular horror-videogame franchise ‘Five Nights At Freddy’s’.
Are they ready for adventure? Who knows.
Koopaling Self-Portrait
There was a fad that happened some time ago, when artists on Tumblr designed themselves ‘Koopaling-sonas’. I made something for the bandwagon, but never got to jump on it myself.
Rose Von-Dreddy, the Bard-Barian
The very first character I designed for my very first Dungeons-&-Dragons tabletop campaign. Like the dunce I was, I thought it would be a good idea to play a bard and a barbarian class at the same time.
Not that dual-classing is a bad idea. Just, take it from me, find something simple to begin with if you ever wanna break into D&D.
Disgruntled Kyubey, At A Desk Job
I drew this during the short three days I had as a customer-service call-center representative. This stemmed off of the idea that Kyubey, the strange animal-alien that turned middle-school girls into magical ones in the anime ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica‘, had mutated the one thing that Kyubey things shouldn’t have-- emotions.
He hates kids. He also hates people. In general. He really just hates a lot of things.
Various Chua Illustrations
There was an MMO I used to play called ‘WildStar’. It may be gone by now, but I loved playing it. Moreso, I loved a particular player-character race the MMO featured-- the Chua. They were short, fat-tailed rodent-folk that became mad scientists in a short amount of time.
Here’s three illustrations I did involving chuas.
Decorated Gryphons
The first is a commissioned portrait of a client’s gryphon character. The second is a retired warlord, Stormclaw, for a story another person wrote. I don’t know where the story went, but it was a good one.
Franky, the Scholar
Franky was supposed to be a mix between some sort of alien avian, a ratfolk, and a kobold. The racial statistics were a mess, and I couldn’t decide whether to make this small guy a rogue or a wizard.
Anyway, he’s a space-trucker these days.
Brannie, the Kobold Luchador
A character I created for a Pathfinder session.
Needless to say, this one didn’t pan out well. But damn, if I don’t love the costume I gave ‘em.
Various Object Illustrations
Sometimes, even non-living objects have a heckuva lot of character. I love experimenting with that.
A birthday-gift commission for a cool guy named Garret. He really likes the anime ‘Space Dandy’. And that cool mecha-catroon ‘MEGAS XLR′. I was told Garret looks like the blonde dude in that mecha-cartoon.
I had fun with this one.
Doctor Dimension, Heroic Pose
A commission of an old friend’s character, whom is also the main protagonist of a webcomic ask-blog named ‘Ask Doctor Dimension’. This piece also showcases the prosthetic leg I designed, that the character wears.
Vanica, Rabbit of Violence
A character that I designed for a close friend. Alternatively, the first time I’ve drawn real big gazongas. Y’know, them huge Dobonhonkeroos.
Tecusa, Cat Android
A cat-anthro android that I designed for a Dungeons-&-Dragons session. Two separate versions of this cat-girl android-- one inspired by the ball-joint aesthetics like Asimo, and the other based off of themes in a videogame named ‘WARFRAME‘.
