Rewatching Meet the Robinsons, I noticed something kind of neat: at the science fair, Wilbur sees Lewis but doesn’t realize who he is until he sees the memory scanner.

It makes sense too: Lewis and Cornelius may look very much alike, but that still doesn’t necessarily mean Wilbur would recognize his dad as a 12-year-old on sight (like, would you?).

Dad’s favorite invention, though? Something he’s seen in the lab his whole life and whose story he’s probably heard a thousand times? That he’d recognize.

"Wilbur deserves all the credit and doesn’t get enough attention. Wilbur is my favourite character of the movie for many reasons, however, despite him being the 2nd main protagonist of the movie. It seems like he’s being treated like a background character by the general public as not a lot of people talk about him as much and seem to always forget him. They only care about Goob/Bowler hat guy as he gets the most attention out of all the characters, this gets me annoyed because I don’t want people to end up giving Wilbur lots of unnecessary mass hate for his flaws. I think he deserves more credit and love for being a good friend to Lewis as we can see through the entire movie he was the one that was always there for him and helping him out"
