Hello everyone. It's been a while and we apologize for the delay in tasks. But since there was no task given last week, we thought that we would give you quite a handful of things to do. 

For our special someone, it is only common that we do special things for them, sometimes with an excessive amount of effort. So for this week's task, we ask you to do something special for your partner. It doesn't have to be romantic, but surely it can still be something special. (if you know what I mean. -wink wink-) this can range from giving them flowers, to giving them a coupon at an 'eat-all-you-can buffet restaurant' or just simply talking to them everyday or leaving them small notes to wake up to; it's totally upto you. There is no specifics nor limit. Be creative, make your valentine feel special, and most of all. Have fun!

Secret Valentine Event: Task 1

Hello everyone and welcome to the first task for our Secret Valentine Event! 

For this first week we want to keep things pretty simple. We ask that you get to know the basics about your Valentine. Learn what they like and dislike; colors, foods, bands, etc. Do they have a motto in life? A dream date? Things along those lines. Of course, you are free to go beyond that, but we want you to at least learn the basics. 

Please remember that you have a week to complete your task before another will be given out. Should you, for any reason, be unable to oblige within the given time frame, please send a message to the directory and we can work something out. Otherwise, have a good time in getting to know each other!

Good day Impact! 

The Secret Valentine Event has officially started and participants have now been assigned their respective recipients. The main goal of this event is to hopefully bring the family closer together while doing something fun. We hope that participants will use this opportunity to get to know their Valentine better and maybe even start a new and exciting friendship. Who knows, you might even find "the one." (Just kidding. This is really all for friendly purposes.) 

Now in order for this event to work, we will be sending out tasks for the Secret Valentine to complete. While there is no consequence for not completing a task, we urge you to participate as much as you can. Please try and complete the task within the week it is given so you don't fall behind! While there are assigned tasks, remember that you are not limited to just these tasks. In fact, feel free to converse with your assigned recipient as much as you like. 

Keep in mind that the identity of the Secret Valentine should be kept a secret until the end of the event; the 14th of March. If you have and questions or concerns, please don't be afraid to send us a message!

Hello, Impact! Ready to spread the love this season? Received any flowers yet? Ate sweet and mouthwatering chocolate? Mingled with new people? Got hooked up? No?! If not, we are here to tingle your love cells and shake out that hopeless romantic in you as we bring our very first "Secret Valentine" event!

The mechanics of the event are simple! It's similar to a 'Secret Santa' only much more intimate. [ wiggly eyebrows ]

1) Drop us a message saying you want to take part 2) We will randomly choose the person you are assigned to be a "secret valentine" to; someone else (which will remain unknown to you until the last day of the event) is going to be your secret valentine 3) And lastly, we will be assigning you one (1) task every week, to which you will be accomplishing until the last day of the week. (Example: For this week, you will need to serenade your partner to the tune of Careless Whisper [more wiggly eyebrows])

BREAKING: SHINee's Lee Taemin spotted at illegal racing meet up.

Known for his dancing skills, cute face, and beautiful voice, here comes Lee Taemin’s true colors. If you are a huge fan of Taemin like many are, you would know that he is a risk taker. Some of the things he did during One Fine Day are great examples of the risks the idol is willing to take. Taemin has come a long way from skydiving and sitting on rails 11,782 ft. above sea level. A netizen has reportedly spotted the ‘Ace’ singer at an illegal street racing meet up. Ever since the twenty fourth of January in 2011 when one hundred and forty six illegal street racers were busted, not many races have occurred. However, lately, more and more seem to be popping up. The netizen, who has requested to keep her name private, spotted Taemin, or rather the person they assumed to be the maknae of SHINee, leaving the race after prizes were distributed to the winners. It is unsure whether or not it was actually the maknae of SHINee due to the fact he was wearing a face mask and sunglasses. But it is indeed suspicious for any normal person to wear sunglasses at night. The netizen was unable to snap any pictures or get close enough to confirm the speculation. We have contacted SM Entertainment for any further information on this situation.

BREAKING: SHINee's Jonghyun Spotted With Mysterious Female

Shinee’s Jonghyun has been getting a lot of attention lately due to his recent solo album ‘Base’ which released January 12. With songs about various topics around love and emotions, writing the lyrics for all 8 songs, it’s easy to see this 25 year old idol is spreading his wings. 

But that’s not the only thing this ‘Deja Boo’ singer seems to be up to lately. Inside sources have reported that Jonghyun was spotted with a mysterious female. The two were seen outside the MBC building in a more secluded area. Probably after or in the midst of him shooting his performance for Music Core. It is said that they were standing very close, with her facing him as they spoke. They shared a few intimate touches and shifts in body language until they both became weary of their surroundings and thus disappeared within the building. It’s unsure who the girl is but lots of netizens have already make their speculations via comments as well as voicing their opinion on the news. 

SM was reached for comments but they have not gotten back to us.

SPOTLIGHT: All About That 'Base'

Good things come to those who wait. In this case good things came to Shawols in the form of a solo.  After six years with SHINee, Kim Jonghyun, lead singer of the group, revealed he would be doing a solo album. On the first day of 2015, he broke the internet with the release of a teaser and photos for his up and coming album. The ep, Base, was released on the 12th of January. Within the first two days, the physical version of the album sold a whopping 11,980 copies, an all kill with his single Deja Boo and claimed the number one spot on the Japanese itunes. Those are not the only accolades the album boasts.  Every song on the album was written by Mr. Kim (with the exception of Hallelujah which was co written by Wheesung) and revealed another side of him.

Though many fans knew Mr. Kim for his ballads (he is also a member of SM the Ballad) he showed another side of him through this album. Base is laced with sultry songs of heartache and despair; love and confusion and many more themes that are typical of American r&b music. Jonghyun even admitted that he was inspired by an R.Kelly song and the background choir when writing Hallelujah. 

This album was a turning point for Blingers and Shawols as a whole. For the first time, Jonghyun’s voice has been voiced with no interruptions or filters. He released a side of him unknown to the public eye and let fans into his heart and innermost thoughts. Jonghyun has transformed his self from Korean boy band idol to a internationally known musician. His music is sure to transcend past language barriers and the norm for most people. 

In closing, the year of 2015 is all about that Base. His sultry tones and smooth falsetto set the tone for the year. Kim Jonghyun has sang and body rolled his way into dominance and surely will dominate the charts in 2015.

Technically no, there is no deadline to it. You're free to do it now, or whenever you please. All in all it's meant for your character development/to get a deeper insight and think about your idol. So really, in the end it's mainly for yourself.

BREAKING: 2NE1's CL spotted at FNC

2NE1’s charismatic leader and self-proclaimed “baddest female,” was recently spotted entering FNC’s main building and seen leaving hours later. Does this mean there could be a collaboration in the works? Many would like to hope so, but FNC artists don’t seem to fit with YG artists. Could this mean that YG is possibly opening it’s doors to new sounds? If so, FNC might not be such a bad choice. With artists such as CNBlue’s Jung Yonghwa and FTIsland’s Lee Hongki, FNC is most certainly not short of talent. However, CL and 2NE1 do have a more aggressive sound and stage presence with their usual hip-hop/pop style, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t work out. However, at this time, neither YG nor FNC have released any official statements regarding the speculation.

As we all know, in the business of idols, male and females aren’t always treated equally. Sometimes it seems as though males have more freedom than females in just about everything; concepts, clothing, weight, speech, etc. So, for our first prompt, we would like for you to imagine your muse as the opposite gender. But first, we want you to think of your muse’s personality as they are now. Are they fast to anger? What are their little quirks? How do they deal with stress? Things along those lines. Now, think of your muse as the opposite gender. Would these things remain the same? If no, what would change? Try to compare and contrast between the two and feel free to give examples.
