Interview Recruitment!
Hi everyone!
As some of you may know, I’m a Communication Professor who primarily conducts research regarding social media and digital cultures. I’m currently working on a new project regarding “personal digital archives.” This means better understanding all of the digital files that we have saved over the course of our lives, our ability to access these files, decisions we make about saving files, and emotional attachments/reactions to all this saved content.

I’m currently looking for users who would consent to be interviewed regarding how they make saving and sharing decisions and their emotional connections to their personal digital archives. If you are over the age of 18, would consider yourself an “American Millennial,” and are interested in participating, please let me know. Interviews are conducted in English via text on Discord (you would need to either have installed or willing to install Discord on a personal device). You would be required to agree to an informed consent document for my College’s institutional review board procedures.

(you can reblog or share this post with others you think might be interested. Interviews are asynchronous meaning you don't have to do the whole thing at once. We just conduct the interview in Discord chat as we're both able to respond).
