I didn’t want to post this until I finished the full shoot but got excited. Proud to announce the @vor.shoes x Annie Nguyen shoe. VOR is a minimal shoe brand based in Germany. Their countless hours spent on finding the best materials and making sure each shoe is just right is what makes me appreciate them so much. This is VOR’s 3A Vintageweiss silhouette customized by yours truly. It’s a dream to see an illustrator file come to life as a real shoe one year later. This first photo features some clay pieces I made. Lesson learned, wear gloves while cutting them. 🔪 😫 Full shoot to come next week, stay tuned. Outtakes from last fall. Still admire that fall light. Also, found a new appreciation for the John Ferraro building after shooting and editing these photos. North Shore December 2018. Side note: I’m in the process of redoing my site and while choosing typefaces, I asked J what he thought of this particular sans serif. He called it “very American Psycho” and said it suited me. While most would be concerned, I took that as a huge compliment.
