I recently came across this series of photos from Howard Schatz’s 2002 book Athlete. It portrays the incredible diversity of bodies of world champion athletes from a wide variety of sports. 

Exercise and sport are for all bodies! Don’t let stereotypes of what athletic bodies look like hold you back from participating in physical activity.
