Or at least, the ideas that crossed his mind weren’t good enough to justify her actions. The pirate raised a brow before he told her. “Because keeping secrets from your won crew is perfectly normal." Hook nodded, clearly intending to be a touch sarcastic as he gave her a look. "Do whatever you want, love.”

A solemn sigh left the young pirate's lips. She couldn't help but feel slightly broken inside torn between growing up and being the fiery redhead that she loved. The inner battle that raged on her mind made her feel as if she was going criminally insane. So, Corey felt the need that alcohol would help numb out the voices in her head. Guilt ran through the young female as a frown appeared on her features, listening to her Captain's words. “Sometimes people have secrets, I've fairly sure that you've kept ones from me. ”, she replied with not ounce of playfulness or the usual eye roll he got when he was being a smart ass, “ That's exactly what I'm doing for once in my life, I'm growing up. ” Somehow she wondered if he could see how much this was killing her, but she doubted that he would entirely.
