Hello there. Guess how much money I made last year? $28. I’m an investment banking analyst at a boutique firm, in M&A. I have my undergrad from the University of Chicago, one of the top schools in the country. With bonuses, sometimes I make even more. Are you jealous of that? Most people on Tumblr are usually jobless or they decided to major in the humanities and are poor.

Guy who never feels like his problems are “bad enough” to be taken seriously: what if I hurt the character so horrifically that everyone around them could not possibly deny the severity of their pain even if the character themself tries to downplay it.

I wish I could go to a doctor and just list every single symptom I ever experienced no matter how small and unconnected they seem and the doctor is nice and patient and knows everything and they nod and smile and explain that every symptom I ever experienced is connected to like one rare and often overlooked issue that's sooooo easy to fix with like. a pill. and then I never have to worry about anything ever again.

Whenever i feel like everyone hates me my best friend will hit me with something like. Well i didnt want to go because u werent there and then im like. Im so loved and appreciated despite my flaws actually

Trying to listen to the audiobook version of this book ive been trying to finish for ages and idk if this is normal but the (female) narrator keeps making her voice deeper whenever she narrates the male characters dialogue and i find it so silly

#not a huge fan of audiobooks in general bc i cant focus on hearing for that long but like. do narrators always do this 😭😭
