My phone rang at 2:53am Monday morning. When I picked up, Steph said, "Josh... I don't... I'm trapped. Rusty and I are trapped in the loft. It's flooded and I can't get out. Everything's ruined. Gone."
For the next 2 hours, I was trying to coordinate a rescue and get any information on what exactly was happening. Luckily, Steph and Rusty were eventually able to escape.
The reports that came out later said we got 18" of rain in 2 hours, but Steph's camera shows her loft flooding entirely within 7 minutes. That's all it took to lose over a decade of work. Steph Grant Studios suffered a near-total business loss. There's a complete interruption of all income due to the loss of our physical space and equipment. Additionally, the Promote Love Movement lost a majority of the promotional materials, physical products, paperwork, and more.
