Heey?? Hellooo?? Does this thing even-- ugh! This spaceship is full of junk!
..whatever I don't even think this thing even works anyway!
They bash their head against the keyboard of the glitching computer, the screen flashing into static and off again. A couple seconds pass by and then the screen flashes on again, and onto the already recording video software they were trying to use.
Oh shoot it is working..
Hello? Hi!! My names Fuchsia~!! One of the skeld's newest members aboard! Not that I really.. wanted to be here, but surely that's impressive huh?! Hah!!
...
Ehh, not that it really matters where I am. I found this computer a while back and since comms are down and I have NOTHING better to do, I've decided to talk to myself in front of a computer camera! Hah! Hmm, it's kind of like a video diary? That sounds pretty cool.....
Though I don't have much to talk about, ugh. Again, nothing eventful has been happening! I just really hope nobody catches me slacking off--
Faintly, in the background you can hear one of the mechanical doors open.
EEK!!
The video cuts off.
Hey!! Hi!! This is an rp blog for my among us show oc Fuchsia!
~Takes place on the skeld, along with the rest of the among us show crew
RULES, EXTRA INFO, TAGS, AND DESIGN UNDER CUT!
I feel like since this is an oc I should probably introduce them a lil.....
Fuchsia is quite a loud crewmate! They love talking to people and like to mess with the rest of the crew very much, but they're also very attention seeking. They tend to get very very jealous very easily if they deem someone else is getting more attention than them (this is mostly aimed at Red since they're the captain and have a high role compared to everyone else. This can also be aimed at Blue, but they have maxxed out charisma that Fuchsia isn't immune to...)
Before coming onto the skeld, they were a graffiti artist who jumped from ship to ship tagging anywhere they could, until they eventually got caught by MIRA HQ. Mira, being understaffed due to a bunch of ships mysteriously losing all of its crew due to aliens (which they refuse to look into deeper), decided instead of turning Fuchsia in immediately, they would use them as free labor, putting them onto the skeld unpaid, and if they didn't cooperate their thousands of thousands of dollars in property damage in vandalism would be charged. And they're broke. And trapped. Oh and also they boarded the skeld around the same time green and white did.
More info may be shared later!!!
Fuchsia goes by They/them, as with the rest of the crew! <~ And so do I, The mod here! :D (ran by @flyingspacekitties, tho im not too active on that acc rn)
Uuhm, I can't think of many rules, just nothing nsfw or explicit! Flirting with Fuchsia is okay! They'll be very flattered anyways. Please keep in mind that the mod is a minor though!
Magic anons are on, im not sure what they are not gonna lie but im willing to take a gamble on that.
Generally takes place before White dies but after the asteroid hit, Orange and Green are still imposters, but the parasite in them hasn't killed them and they went to the doctor thinking they got sick. Everyone's like alive cus i wanna interact with as many people as possible....... Timeline can change though if specified.
There also isn't any specific ships with Fuchsia in place, but I'm open to anything!!

Hello?
..
Aubergine!! Hi again!
They look out their window again to check (as if anything would change from the last time they looked out) and sure enough, that crescent shaped planet is still there.
Uh, yeah we actually are flying.. kind of close to Polus right now. It's that purple planet right? We haven't passed it yet.
My computer somehow connected to something. I can't check what, but this.. console.. (is that what it's called?) popped up not too long ago. Maybe that's the signal you're getting?
"Maybe?? Either way it's a great excuse to call you! It's nice to hear from you again."
There's a little creak as they lean back in their chair. They should oil that thing.
"Do you have any plans of a pit stop, or are you just flying by? The offer to fix up your hull is still open. Though the landing conditions aren't ideal right now with this storm outside."
Ehhm, not exactly sure, I'd have to check in with the captain again, maybe they'll make a good decision for once in their lifetime ... whoah who said that
Oh there's a storm?? Hm.. well I don't really know what other opportunity we'll get to fix that hole. And all the other problems with this ship.
They look out the window again
We're still somewhat far though, it would take a couple days to land there it seems.. maybe then the storm would pass by? Not sure. I mean we can't go too fast on this ship because of the hole and the fact that the reactor tries to implode on itself every other day. I've been on enough ships to know that.
Anyway, have you had any luck trying to contact HQ?
"Ah yes, your...captain. I do not envy having them as an authority figure, and I heard of their antics all of twice."
Aubergine audibly cringed, but the smile in their voice remained.
"The storm should pass by then, yeah- unless we get hit with another one. But the forecast machine didn't say anything about a follow-up, so we should be fine. I'll ask Chief about preparing the landing platform for you, if your captain agrees."
They typed something, likely bringing up the forecast app to double check.
"Oh, actually yeah I kind of?? Reached HQ?? It's weird though. I reached a call center, but not the right one. The admins there were convinced our outpost isn't even here. So, no real luck- but I did accidentally dial an army official right afterwards so that was fun- How was your pizza party?"
Yeah I honestly don't know how Mira hired them but alright...
..
Well it's good to know that it should pass by then! If it didn't I'm not sure how those trust balls would hold up the ship ...
Hm, that's really odd. Your outpost wasn't recognized?? Well I wouldn't really be surprised if Mira's system is faulty or something. They don't seem to care about the quality of life of their workers as much if it saves them another penny to hoard-- Wait you called an army official??
Oh, the pizza party got postponed until tomorrow, since apparently Green, my intern buddy, and Orange, the HR rep, got sick from something. The doctor is checking in on them right now.

HI. hi. I've been up to nothing lately. I mean, other than.. cleaning other people's messes and maintaining the ship or whatever, like a "good little intern!" As green would say or someth--
The video quality starts to get worse and glitch out, and the recording seems to jump forward from time to time and repeat.
--ying to find ways to pass the time, and don't tell anyone but I've been tagging some small places around the ship with some paint mark-- ere! Hah, Mira thought they confiscated everything after catching me that one time. Do they seriously i only own like 4 cans and 3 markers? Pfft, they didn't even search me that well when they put me onto this ship.. those dum-- thought they took everything!
Also I've just been ... trying to mess--mess around with the rest of the crew. Most of them don't seem to care for me very much though, which is annoyi-- xpected that cause I'm some lowly hostage intern doing free labor but still... I'm like, super hot super interesting and SUPER cool?! Okay?! SOMEONE has to take more interest in--
--oesn't really bother me that much

ANYWAY GOOD--GOODBYE ACTUALLY I-- LSE TO TALK ABOUT BYE. BYE BYE BYE BYE BY---
"--llo, hello? This is South Polus Research Outpost, are you recieving me?"
There is a nervous voice crackling forth from the computer. They did not posess the practiced cadence a comms operator on an outpost usually had.
"Is this the report line? I need to speak to Headquarters...oh, who am I kidding, there's no way I guessed it first try..."
There is a slight shuffle and a whine, like someone resting their forehead in their hands.
"Sorry, I'm just dialing random numbers. Uh, who is this-?"
[ @poluscalls ]
Oh what the hell this old thing can receive calls?!
They scramble to their computer trying to answer the call, smacking the side of it trying to get this incompetent device to work for once.
UH. UHM. Yeah. I'm... receiving?? Research Outpost..?
...No this is some hostage intern of the skeld's very legal computer but I'm not saying which one cause you're gonna like snitch or something! Headquarters? Like.... Mira HQ..?
They contemplate for a second trying to figure out the best way to go about this without being caught with their totallynotillegal computer and getting financially nuked by Mira since they're... on their last strike.
You see in any normal situation I'd redirect you to the captain but you didn't hear this from me but that captain is a loser!
...and im already on thin ice here. I can't be caught doing ANOTHER illegal thing...
Wait do we even have someone in charge of communications here...
The stranger on the other side of the staticy line giggled openly, the nerves melting away.
"Oh, don't you worry about that honey, I won't tell a soul! Being forced to be there for free gives you ample right to own illegal paraphernalia. HQ would hardly care anyhow, their call center workers run on fumes and caffeine."
There's a little clatter, like they were fiddling with the equipment. The static clears up a little bit.
"I'll trust your judgement. Captains are usually too busy to bother with random calls anyway. ...Say- They aren't treating you horribly are they? I don't know much about how unpaid internships go. If you're being mistreated I can snitch on that for you?"
Ooh, you're actually not insufferable about Mira rules, thank god!
They sigh in relief then perk up once they hear that HQ wouldn't care as much
Really? Hm. I guess I kind of thought they'd be much stricter, the HR rep here makes it sound like every violation is a serious offense or something. Especially since... um, my record isn't great. At all. Ahaha.....
But I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Mira doesn't care as much as they make it sound.
.
Yeah our captain is alwaayss busy... mhm... with their loud ass video games instead of working....
Well, I wouldn't say I'm being treated horribly. The crew here is generally pretty nice with some exceptions. Most of what bothers me so much is based on the higher ups decisions and those who enforce it! Like the decisions they make to save an extra penny.
Like, the beds in the sleeping quarters are like as thick as one book, MAYBE two if you're generous, there's no sheets, the blanket is really thin so I usually just use my jacket as a blanket, the emergency seals are faulty so there's a giant gaping hole in our storage room sealed up with trust balls, comms are down and nobody here specializes in comms so nobody knows how to fix it, I remember hearing the security guard complain about the cameras here being useless, and soo much more with this ship that's really annoying that COULD'VE been fixed with better funding if Mira wasn't so greedy to hoarde it all!!
.....
Okay, sorry about that I definitely went on a rant, I didn't really mean to.. complain as much as I did ahah....
"...A-- No, that...that is a VERY good reason to complain, there's a HOLE in your hull?? Please tell me you're stopping at the nearest colony to get that fixed, that is ridiculously dangerous to leave plugged by...balls, you said? What??"
There is a loud, jarring noise that was likely the caller knocking the microphone stand over while gesturing. It is quickly fixed.
"Actually nevermind, that entire ship sounds like a safety violation. If MIRA allowed that to fly, no MIRA colony would do you much good. If your course happens to fly by Polus, you're free to stop here. We'll fix it for you."
A pause. There is a rustle of what sounds like a handful of papers being whipped out from a drawer and plopped on the desk.
"...and stock you some better bed sheets. What's your name, love? So I can write your number down?"
I'm not exactly sure that the captain rerouted to get that fixed actually.... but yeah it's kind of bizarre now that i look at it from an outside perspective..? The hole wasn't brought up again and the crew is just planning another pizza party.
..
Yeaah this thing is a flying piece of junk. Even the technology I found aboard is terrible. This computer glitches like every 10 minutes... Oh right, you're on Polus. I've been there before I think..
..
Oh shoot, I haven't told you my name yet? I'm Fuchsia. You.. maay have heard my name on the news before, don't look too deep into that haha........ I haven't gotten your name yet either.
The sound of scribbling is heard, accompanied by faint muttering. The number has been recorded.
"Fuu...chsia. There. Pretty name! Sorry, I haven't introduced myself either- I'm Aubergine. I don't really watch the news, so this is a clean slate meeting! Tis a pleasure!"
The following rustle suggested Aubergine fixed their attire to be more presentable, even though there was no visual to the call.
"I am. Incredibly concerned about your captain's competence, Fuchsia- Not that anything can be done about it, but know I'm rooting for you guys to fly safe. For now, I need to get back to my task."
The computer mouse was woken up with a few random clicks.
"I'd love to chat again sometime! Enjoy the pizza party!! Bye bye!"

The video quality is very bad at the moment, genuinely going one frame per sometimes, until it eventually clears up.
Aha!!! See I knew it would work! Uh, what was I going to say again?
...
Right! I'M SO DAMN HUNGRY. My mouth is watering at the thought of pizza right now, but Brown and Yellow aren't making anything right now, and it feels weird to ask! I'm surreeee I can just wait until lunch or whatever but ughh!
But anyways, being an intern really sucks on this spaceship. I kinda hate it. I'm not even bothered by the conditions, eh I've been through worse, but surely I should atleast have SOME kind of freedom? Right?! I hate trying to navigate this ship when there's cameras everywhere and Orange keeps looking over my shoulder every second of the day to see if I'm doing my tasks! It's frustrating for me!...
...oh whatever. Soon enough I'll be up and out of this spaceship. Surely.
The video quality glitches once again and the video cuts off.
