So I understand being devastated Lewis lost, but that doesn’t mean this victory was not deserved by Max. Mercedes made some big mistakes in their strategy. I hate tumblr essays as much as the next person but what esteban did today is so so special to so many people, he has had to fight tooth and nail for where he is today. his parents gave up their house, has dad used to go garbage diving for tyres, his 2018 was plagued with on track battles and he had to have body guards!!!! at races due to death threats and hate he was receiving. he lost his seat due to no fault of his own, and is BEST FRIENDS with the man who replaced him and has nothing but nice words to day about him. his 2020 was messy with so many dnfs (not his fault) and he stayed so positive and was a HUGE support for daniel. and now he's here and he's a race winner and he is still SO KIND AND HUMBLE AND FULL OF LOVE FOR HIS TEAM AND TEAMMATE. he deserves this so fucking much I love him
