like, I think she doesn't CONSTANTLY feel it, I think she honestly represses it slash actively tries to let go of it a lot, but. it's there.

i feel like i usually post about this from sort of the insecurity angle or feeling doubt about maeve's feelings

but now i'm thinking about it from the angle i seldom do, of the actual negative feelings towards homelander. i think it's there, underneath, in its own way. there's a small part of elena that hates homelander just as much as billy butcher does. there's a small part of her that, even when she is with maeve and happy, even when she feels totally confident that maeve loves her, still hates homelander just for the small chance that he has something in common with maeve that she can never have, that he could provide experiences for maeve that she can never give. there is a small small part of her that would want to kick his brains in if she had supe powers.

but the reason this is so compelling to me is because it IS such a small part. does this make sense. who feels me.

remind myself to make a post about thoughts i had the other day about homelander's feelings about elena too (this reminder might be for me in 5 minutes or another day we'll see)

Ok, here is the OFFICIAL AND ONLY CORRECT GUIDE to starting reading Pratchetts Books. Its a multiple step process, so read all steps carefully otherwise you will be wrong and shunned to eternity.

1. Go outside.

2. Trust the universe for once in your life.

3. Find any of these: Library, Thriftstore, secondhand bookshop, a cupboard with free books, your relatives or friends book shelf or storage boxes ...

4. Locate the Pratchett Book.

5. The universe has now deciced with which book you must start with.

6. Compliment the universe for its wisdom.

7. From there on repeat the steps above.
