i love everything about the introductory lucy saxon interview scene in the sound of drums... the interviewer lady being like "okay lucy good girl come talk to me... your husband is evil and has brainwashed the world and i think he killed his entire cabinet... he's evil but you've got good breeding (although you're not especially bright) but you're a sweet innocent person and you deserve to know" and lucy's just like "i made my choice. for better or for worse. sorry girl" and watches in mild discomfort as saxon has the interviewer killed. like okay if knowing the truth hadn't already doomed the interviewer, calling lucy stupid definitely did. and then she lectures saxon for not perfectly pulling off the brainwashing plan and he has to comfort her by telling her that he's definitely ending the world tomorrow don't worry about it. and we find out she's like this because he took her to the end of time and she saw everything die and it sent her into a nihilistic dissociative state. and when the world ends she giggles and dances to music. and she fucking murders her husband after she spends a year being abused by him after they ended the world together. and then when a cult tries to bring him back to life she kills herself just to prevent it from working completely ("until death do us part harry!!"). lucy saxon is such a fascinating character in a million ways and it's a crime that people do not talk about her more
