I had this weird AU idea

it’s mostly “what if Clock came back wrong” in terms of his recovery in BFB 15 and his existence blurred the lines between the realm of the living and the otherworldly. like, he sees other objects in the form of their essence as opposed to their actual physical bodies & his whole perspective is warped. Fries, however, had a really weird relationship with death in BFDIA between the self-regeneration and whatever was going on with him in hell, and the after-effects have led to him being completely disconnected from anything to do with the realm of death. and Clock can tell. idk where I’d go with this but it’s an idea
